What you will be doing

  • Drive Full-Stack Feature Development: Transform complex requirements into elegant, scalable solutions from backend architecture to frontend implementation, ensuring production-ready quality at every step
  • Execute Precision Problem Solving: Conduct thorough root cause analysis on system issues, implement comprehensive fixes addressing underlying problems, and establish robust testing frameworks to prevent recurrence
  • Enforce Engineering Excellence: Elevate code quality through rigorous review of technical designs and implementations, preventing technical debt while maintaining development velocity

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating unnecessary technical complexity or over-engineered solutions that don't directly serve user needs
  • Following specifications without questioning assumptions or understanding the core problem being solved
  • Wasting time in excessive meetings or organizational bureaucracy that impedes actual development work
  • Focusing solely on feature completion metrics rather than delivering meaningful user value and business outcomes

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage AI technologies to develop high-impact educational software that solves genuine user problems, maintains rapid delivery cycles, and ensures long-term technical sustainability

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 4 years building production-grade web applications with demonstrated proficiency across both frontend and backend domains
  • Proven track record of ownership: Successfully led complete modules, product features, or engineering teams with measurable results
  • Exceptional self-direction: Ability to navigate ambiguity, overcome obstacles independently, and maintain productivity without constant guidance
  • Practical experience integrating generative AI into your development workflow to enhance productivity and solution quality
