Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer energized by tackling intricate problems and shipping features that matter? Come build cutting-edge AI-driven products that redefine learning and personal development. Your focus will be on disciplined execution, creating products that scale, remain maintainable, and drive measurable impact.

You'll contribute to products reshaping education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in an engaging, TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates learners through customized, imaginative storytelling that enhances understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as an intelligent learning assistant, embedding itself into existing tools to coach students proactively.
  • Athena: Delivers proven academic results through AI-created videos and assessments.

This position is designed to create tangible value through production-ready software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing genuine challenges—not simply completing tasks. You're expected to deliver quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that honors both immediate velocity and future sustainability.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Transform user stories into live solutions; define requirements clearly, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, validate rigorously, and release to production
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Diagnose issues via root cause investigation, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Engineering Standards: Critique technical plans and code contributions to promote clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying challenge
  • Spending hours in meetings debating roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you're accountable for solving real problems

Key responsibilities

  • Employing AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, ships rapidly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
