Description

Are you a Full-Stack Engineer drawn to complex technical problems and the delivery of high-value features? This role offers the opportunity to develop cutting-edge AI-powered products that redefine learning and personal growth. Your focus will be on disciplined execution, building products that are scalable, maintainable, and meaningful.

You will contribute to products reshaping education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures within a TikTok-inspired learning interface.
  • TeachTales: Delivers personalized, immersive storytelling experiences that enhance student comprehension.
  • TimeBack: Functions as an intelligent learning assistant, embedding into existing applications to provide proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Employs AI-generated video content and assessments to produce quantifiable academic gains.

This position is designed to create tangible impact through deployed software. You will leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack systems addressing substantive challenges—not merely completing task lists. The expectation is rapid delivery without compromising quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

What you will be doing

  • Design and Deploy Full-Stack Capabilities: Drive user stories from concept through production; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to live environments
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Trace issues via systematic root cause analysis, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent recurrence through intelligent test coverage
  • Elevate Engineering Standards: Assess design proposals and code submissions to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at its source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend architectures as ends in themselves
  • Executing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying user need
  • Spending time in protracted planning sessions about roadmaps and priorities or coordinating with multiple stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; your mandate is to resolve genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, delivers rapidly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years writing production-grade code for both frontend and backend of web applications (framework-agnostic).
  • Proven ownership: Track record of owning entire modules, product features, or engineering teams—not merely executing isolated tasks
  • Self-sufficient execution: Capacity to resolve your own blockers, determine your own rhythm, and navigate ambiguity independently
  • Practical experience incorporating generative A.I. into daily development workflows
