Full Stack Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Developer who excels at tackling complex technical problems and shipping features that make a real difference? We're looking for someone to help us create cutting-edge AI-driven products that reshape how learning and development happen. Your focus will be on execution excellence—building systems that scale, maintain quality, and drive meaningful impact.

Our products are redefining education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to resurrect historical figures in an engaging TikTok-style learning platform.
  • TeachTales: Delivers personalized, enchanting stories that help students understand and retain more.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a proactive learning assistant integrated into existing applications, coaching students in real time.
  • Athena: Generates AI-powered videos and assessments to produce measurable improvements in academic performance.

This position is designed to create tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to develop full-stack solutions that address genuine challenges—not just close tickets. We expect you to move quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the simplest viable approach that honors both immediate delivery and future sustainability.

If solving hard technical problems and delivering features that matter excites you, let's talk.

What you will be doing

  • Deliver Complete Full-Stack Features: Own user stories from concept through deployment; refine requirements, architect scalable systems, implement both backend and frontend logic, validate thoroughly, and deploy to production
  • Track Down and Resolve Bugs: Use root cause analysis to identify underlying issues, address core problems rather than surface symptoms, and implement intelligent testing to prevent future regressions
  • Elevate Code Standards: Conduct reviews of technical plans and pull requests to enforce clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at the source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-perfect interfaces or elaborate backend systems as ends in themselves
  • Implementing specifications mechanically without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending time in unproductive meetings about roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; your responsibility is to solve genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys rapidly, and remains sustainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience writing production code for web applications' frontend and backend (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Demonstrated experience owning complete modules, product features, or teams, not just contributing siloed tasks
  • Independent execution: The ability to unblock yourself, set your own pace, and find paths forward in ambiguous situations
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
