You'll contribute to products revolutionizing education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in an engaging TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through personalized, enchanting stories that improve understanding.
  • TimeBack: Serves as a learning copilot integrated with existing applications, offering proactive student coaching.
  • Athena: Delivers measurable academic results through AI-generated video content and assessments.

This position is designed to create tangible impact through functional software. You'll leverage AI tooling and cloud-native infrastructure to develop full-stack solutions that address genuine challenges, not merely complete task lists. You'll ship quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward correct approach that balances immediate delivery with long-term sustainability.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Full-Stack Features: Own user stories end-to-end; clarify requirements, architect scalable systems, implement backend and frontend logic, conduct thorough testing, and deploy to production
  • Identify and Resolve Bugs: Perform root cause analysis to investigate issues, address underlying problems rather than surface symptoms, and prevent regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Examine plans and pull requests to maintain clarity, simplicity, and correctness, preventing technical debt at the source

What you will NOT be doing

  • Crafting pixel-perfect interfaces or intricate backend systems as ends in themselves
  • Executing specifications without grasping the underlying problem
  • Spending excessive time in meetings about roadmaps and priorities or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you'll be accountable for solving real problems

Key responsibilities

  • Leveraging AI to create software that addresses genuine user needs, delivers quickly, and remains maintainable over time

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven track record owning entire modules, product features, or teams, beyond isolated task contributions
  • Independent execution: Capability to unblock yourself, establish your own rhythm, and navigate forward in uncertain conditions
  • Hands-on experience using generative A.I. in your daily development workflow
