Full Stack Developer   $100,000 USD/year

Description

Are you a Full-Stack Developer who excels at tackling intricate problems and shipping features that matter? Join us to create cutting-edge AI-driven products that redefine learning and personal development. Your focus will be on delivering excellence, building systems that scale, remain maintainable, and drive meaningful outcomes.

You'll contribute to products reshaping education:

  • TeachTap: Uses AI to animate historical figures in an engaging, TikTok-style learning format.
  • TeachTales: Captivates students through customized, enchanting narratives that enhance understanding.
  • TimeBack: Functions as a learning companion that connects with current applications, offering proactive student guidance.
  • Athena: Employs AI-created videos and assessments to achieve quantifiable educational results.

This position is centered on producing tangible results through functional software. You'll leverage AI capabilities and cloud-native infrastructure to construct full-stack solutions addressing substantive challenges, not merely completing tasks. You'll need to deliver quickly while maintaining quality, selecting the most straightforward effective approach that reconciles immediate velocity with sustained maintainability.

If you're prepared to navigate demanding technical obstacles and create impactful functionality, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Develop and Deploy Complete Features: Transform user requirements from conception to delivery; validate specifications, architect scalable implementations, develop both server-side and client-side code, conduct comprehensive testing, and release to production environments
  • Identify and Resolve Defects: Examine problems using root cause methodologies, address underlying issues rather than surface symptoms, and prevent future regressions through intelligent testing strategies
  • Elevate Code Standards: Assess designs and code submissions to verify clarity, simplicity, and accuracy, preventing technical debt from entering the codebase

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating pixel-precise interfaces or elaborate backend systems purely for complexity's sake
  • Executing specifications mechanically without comprehending the underlying challenge
  • Spending time in prolonged discussions about strategy and timelines or tracking down stakeholders
  • Simply delivering features; you'll own the resolution of genuine problems

Key responsibilities

  • Applying AI to develop software that addresses authentic user needs, deploys rapidly, and preserves long-term maintainability

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience developing production code for both frontend and backend of web applications (any framework).
  • Strong ownership: Proven track record of owning entire modules, product capabilities, or teams, beyond merely contributing isolated tasks
  • Independent execution: Capacity to overcome obstacles autonomously, manage your own workflow, and navigate uncertainty effectively
  • Experience in using generative A.I. in your day-to-day development work
