Senior AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies confront a persistent obstacle: creating learning content that engages students while addressing their individual requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all solutions that fail to deliver meaningful results. Evidence shows that educational resources unable to resonate with learners or accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to substantial declines in student engagement, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. Meanwhile, educators struggle under mounting pressure to deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within limited budgets and time frames.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through advanced AI implementation designed to transform educational content development. Our mission extends beyond creating conventional AI applications—we engineer intelligent systems capable of generating adaptive, individualized learning materials. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge engine that produces compelling, responsive content on demand. This strategic innovation distinguishes our platform in a competitive landscape while expanding the role of AI in education, delivering more accessible, effective, and engaging learning experiences.

This position differs substantially from typical AI engineering work. You won't be confined to routine programming tasks or theoretical model development. Rather, you'll spearhead initiatives that fundamentally alter student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking predictable assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for ambitious technologists ready to leverage advanced tools to create measurable, real-world change.

Joining our team means taking ownership of AI-driven educational infrastructure with the capacity to reshape how learning occurs. You'll employ LLMs as specialized domain experts, constructing contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent learning companions that ensure our AI produces substantive, high-impact content. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to lead projects that challenge conventional limits, we're interested in connecting with you.

What you will be doing

  • Developing Self-Improving AI Content Generation Systems – Agent-based workflows that produce educational materials and continuously refine themselves through evaluation loops and systematic experimentation.
  • Establishing Evaluation Sets & Experiment Harnesses – Curated datasets pairing inputs with expected outputs, plus scoring mechanisms designed to assess, benchmark, and enhance AI-generated content quality.
  • Architecting Context Packs – Structured knowledge resources that supply domain-specific grounding, enabling systems to deliver accurate, superior educational content across multiple subjects.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to LearnWith.AI's competitive differentiation by producing engaging, personalized educational content through AI-powered tools

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience integrating LLMs into production software products (experience limited to chatbot development or basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Track record of deploying production systems featuring self-improving agents that iteratively enhanced the system itself (e.g., autonomously designed tools, refined reward functions, etc.)
  • Experience developing evaluation or regression datasets that drive self-improving systems and establishing quantifiable success metrics
  • Proficiency with contemporary agent-orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
