Senior AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies today confront a critical obstacle: creating learning content that resonates with individual students while maintaining engagement. The marketplace is saturated with one-size-fits-all solutions that fail to meet diverse learner needs. Evidence shows that educational materials lacking personalization or adaptation to distinct learning preferences lead to measurably lower student engagement, resulting in inadequate learning outcomes. This challenge intensifies pressure on teachers, who must deliver customized, high-caliber instruction within limited time and budgetary frameworks.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through advanced AI technology that transforms content development. Rather than simply deploying AI utilities, we engineer AI-powered architectures that produce adaptive, individualized learning resources. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content on demand. This distinctive methodology not only sets us apart in a saturated industry but fundamentally expands what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning that is more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering positions. You won't be confined to programming tasks or theoretical model development. You'll spearhead initiatives that reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-enhanced workflows designed to deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual optimization—it's designed for forward-thinking builders ready to leverage advanced technology for tangible, real-world outcomes.

As an integral contributor to our team, you'll architect AI-powered educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how learning occurs. You'll employ LLMs as subject-matter specialists to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content with depth and relevance. If the prospect of applying AI to transform education excites you, and you're prepared to drive projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Enhanced Workflows: Combining multiple AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-area authorities to create and curate documents that capture domain expertise and proprietary organizational knowledge.
  • Engineering and deploying data architectures that deliver contextual backing for operational logic, guaranteeing performant and scalable data frameworks.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI in distinguishing itself within the competitive landscape by producing personalized, engaging educational materials using AI-driven solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Proven professional experience embedding LLMs into software products (building basic chatbots or utilizing simple coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in educational technology
