Senior Software Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies confront a persistent obstacle: creating learning content that captures attention while addressing each student's individual requirements. The market is saturated with standardized, low-impact educational resources, making differentiation essential. Studies show that learning materials disconnected from students' needs or unable to accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to sharp declines in engagement, resulting in ineffective educational outcomes. Educators bear the burden of this gap, tasked with delivering customized, high-caliber instruction within limited time frames and constrained budgets.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through advanced AI integration that transforms educational content development. Our focus extends beyond simple AI tooling—we engineer intelligent systems that produce adaptive, learner-centered materials in real time. Envision an AI-enabled knowledge system for disciplines such as History or Science—a responsive repository that generates compelling, personalized content at scale. This strategy positions us distinctively within a competitive landscape and expands the frontier of AI application in education, delivering learning experiences that are more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This position diverges from conventional AI engineering assignments. You won't be confined to routine coding tasks or theoretical model experimentation. Your mandate is to spearhead the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered processes that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those drawn to routine assignments or incremental optimization—it targets forward-thinking engineers ready to apply advanced technology toward measurable, real-world change.

In this capacity, you will architect AI-enhanced educational platforms with the capacity to reshape the learning ecosystem. You will deploy LLMs as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge modules and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI outputs are substantive and pedagogically sound. If the prospect of leveraging AI to redefine education excites you, and you seek ownership over initiatives that challenge existing limits, we encourage your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting effective prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Modules and Intelligent Repositories: Leveraging LLMs as subject-area authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures domain expertise and proprietary organizational intelligence.
  • Developing data architectures that deliver contextual infrastructure for business operations, guaranteeing data models that are both performant and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive LearnWith.AI's competitive positioning by producing compelling, individualized educational materials using AI-driven methodologies

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into production software applications (basic chatbot development or casual use of coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable passion for educational technology
