Senior Software Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies struggle to create learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all solutions that fail to deliver meaningful results. Studies show that educational materials that don't resonate with learners or accommodate different learning preferences lead to dramatic decreases in engagement, widening the gap in quality education delivery. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within limited time and budget constraints.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge by applying artificial intelligence to transform how educational content is developed. Rather than simply creating AI utilities, we engineer AI-powered systems that produce adaptive, personalized learning resources. Envision an AI-enhanced "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge engine that generates compelling, responsive content efficiently and at scale. This strategy sets us apart in a saturated marketplace and expands what AI can achieve in educational settings, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering work. You won't be confined to writing code or experimenting with theoretical AI frameworks. You'll drive the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for forward-thinking engineers ready to apply advanced technology to create measurable, real-world change.

In this role, you'll architect AI-driven educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how learning happens. You'll harness large language models as subject-matter experts to construct contextual knowledge systems and intelligent tutoring assistants, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is both relevant and effective. If the prospect of leveraging AI to redefine education excites you, and you're prepared to own initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows using input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-area experts to create and curate documents that capture domain knowledge and proprietary organizational understanding.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual intelligence for business processes, ensuring data models are both performant and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to stand out in the competitive landscape by producing compelling, individualized educational materials using AI-driven solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into production software systems (experience limited to chatbot projects or basic code-completion tools does not qualify)
  • Clear, demonstrable passion for educational technology
