Senior Software Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies today confront a significant obstacle: creating learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. The marketplace is saturated with one-size-fits-all solutions that fail to deliver meaningful outcomes. Studies show that educational materials lacking personalization or adaptability result in reduced student engagement, widening the gap in effective learning delivery. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver customized, high-quality instruction within tight time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond conventional AI tooling—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-specific educational materials. Envision an intelligent knowledge system functioning as a "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated repository that generates adaptive, compelling content efficiently and at scale. This strategy distinguishes us in a competitive landscape and expands what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from typical AI engineering roles. You won't spend your time exclusively writing code or refining theoretical models. You'll spearhead efforts to reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual optimization—it demands ambitious innovators ready to apply advanced technology to drive tangible, real-world change.

You'll serve as a pivotal contributor to our team, architecting AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. Your work will involve utilizing LLMs as domain specialists to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent learning assistants, ensuring our AI outputs are both substantive and impactful. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI tools, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows using input from subject matter experts and end users.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as domain specialists to create and sustain documents that capture knowledge and distinctive organizational insights.
  • Building and implementing data structures that deliver contextual support for business logic, guaranteeing data models that are efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the marketplace by producing personalized and engaging educational content using AI technologies

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Professional experience embedding LLMs into a software product (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Demonstrable interest in EdTech
