Senior Software Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry is grappling with a persistent problem: creating educational content that engages students while adapting to their individual learning requirements. A flood of one-size-fits-all, low-impact learning platforms saturates the market, making differentiation more critical than ever. Evidence shows that when educational resources fail to resonate with learners or accommodate their distinct learning preferences, student engagement declines sharply, leaving a void in meaningful educational outcomes. Educators face mounting pressure to deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction, yet they remain constrained by limited time and resources.

LearnWith.AI is addressing this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform how educational content is produced. Rather than simply deploying AI utilities, we are building AI-powered systems that generate adaptive, learner-centered materials at scale. Imagine an intelligent "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a dynamic knowledge engine that produces contextually rich, engaging content tailored to each student. This strategy not only sets us apart in a saturated marketplace but also expands the frontier of AI's role in education, making learning more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This is not a conventional AI engineering position. You won't be confined to routine coding tasks or working in isolation on theoretical AI frameworks. Instead, you will spearhead the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those who favor predictable assignments or incremental progress—it is designed for visionary engineers ready to apply advanced technology to create measurable real-world change.

As an integral part of our engineering team, you will architect AI-enabled educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how students engage with content. You will use LLMs as specialized domain experts to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI outputs are both substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you are prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we invite you to join us.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI capabilities, prompt engineering techniques, and iterative refinement informed by user and subject matter expert feedback.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as specialized domain authorities to create and curate documents that capture domain knowledge and organizational expertise.
  • Developing and implementing data architectures that deliver contextual support for core business logic, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Differentiate LearnWith.AI in the competitive EdTech landscape by creating engaging, personalized educational content powered by AI technologies

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience integrating LLMs into production software products (building a chatbot or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in the EdTech sector
