Senior Software Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology faces a critical obstacle: creating learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. A flood of generic, low-impact learning platforms saturates the market, making differentiation essential. Evidence shows that educational materials failing to resonate with learners or accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to sharp declines in engagement, widening the gap in quality education. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within tight time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI directly addresses this challenge by leveraging AI to transform educational content development. Our focus extends beyond simple AI tooling—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, individualized learning materials. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge engine that generates compelling, adaptive content at scale. This methodology distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands the potential of AI applications in education, delivering learning experiences that are accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position diverges from conventional AI engineering roles. You won't be confined to coding exercises or theoretical AI modeling. Your mission will be spearheading the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking routine assignments or incremental progress—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology toward tangible, real-world outcomes.

As an integral team member, you'll architect AI-powered educational platforms capable of reshaping how learning occurs. You'll deploy LLMs as specialized domain experts to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that resonates and delivers measurable impact. If the prospect of using AI to redefine education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Developing Self-Improving AI Content Generation Platforms – Agent-based workflows that produce educational materials and autonomously refine performance through evaluation loops and systematic experimentation.
  • Constructing Evaluation Frameworks & Experiment Infrastructure – Curated benchmark datasets (input → expected output mappings) and scoring mechanisms used to assess, compare, and enhance AI-generated content quality.
  • Architecting Context Packs – Structured knowledge resources that deliver domain-specific grounding, enabling systems to produce accurate, high-caliber educational content across multiple subjects.

Key responsibilities

  • Help LearnWith.AI stand apart from competitors by producing engaging, personalized educational content through AI-powered tools

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Proven track record integrating LLMs into production software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Experience delivering a production system where self-improving agents drove system iteration (e.g., designing their own tools, refining their own reward functions, etc.)
  • Experience developing evaluation or regression datasets that drive self-improving systems and establishing quantifiable success metrics
  • Hands-on experience with contemporary agent-orchestration frameworks (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
