Senior Applied AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The educational technology landscape is grappling with a critical issue: the creation of learning content that genuinely engages students while addressing their individual learning requirements. A flood of one-size-fits-all, ineffective educational tools has saturated the market, making differentiation more important than ever. Evidence shows that learning materials which fail to resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning preferences lead to substantial drops in engagement, resulting in deficient educational outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver high-caliber, individualized instruction within significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI is confronting this challenge directly through the strategic application of artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our mission extends beyond simply creating AI tools—we are building AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-specific educational materials. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, adaptive content on demand. This forward-thinking methodology not only distinguishes us in an oversaturated marketplace but also expands the horizons of AI applications in education, making learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This position diverges from typical AI engineering assignments. Your work won't be confined to programming or theoretical AI model development. You will spearhead the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual refinements—it demands ambitious innovators ready to leverage advanced technology for tangible, real-world outcomes.

Serving as an essential team member, you will architect AI-enabled educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You will deploy LLMs as subject matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is both substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you are prepared to assume ownership of initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and optimizing workflows through feedback from domain specialists and end users.
  • Creating Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject matter authorities to build and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and distinctive organizational expertise.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual support for business operations, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the market by producing engaging, personalized educational materials through AI-powered tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Proven professional experience integrating LLMs into software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated enthusiasm for EdTech
