Senior Applied AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry confronts a critical obstacle: creating educational materials that are simultaneously compelling and customized to each student's requirements. Given the market saturation of one-size-fits-all, ineffective learning platforms, differentiation has become increasingly vital. Evidence shows that educational content failing to resonate with learners or adjust to their distinct learning preferences leads to substantial engagement decline, resulting in a deficit of meaningful educational experiences. This burden falls disproportionately on educators, who must deliver superior, individualized instruction while facing significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through AI-powered transformation of content development. Our focus extends beyond mere AI tool creation—we engineer AI-driven architectures that produce adaptive, learner-specific educational resources. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content at scale. This forward-thinking methodology distinguishes us within a saturated marketplace while simultaneously expanding the potential applications of AI in education, rendering learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This position diverges from conventional AI engineering roles. Your scope won't be confined to programming tasks or theoretical AI model development. You'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual refinements—it targets ambitious technologists ready to leverage advanced technology for tangible real-world outcomes.

Serving as an integral team member, you'll architect AI-powered educational platforms with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll deploy LLMs as subject matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing our AI produces content that is substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to assume ownership of initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we encourage your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Systems: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and optimizing systems through iterative feedback from domain experts and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject matter authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures specialized knowledge and distinctive organizational perspectives.
  • Architecting and deploying data architectures that deliver contextual foundation for business operations, guaranteeing performant and scalable data frameworks.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the competitive landscape by producing compelling and individualized educational materials through AI-powered solutions

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven professional experience embedding LLMs within software products (chatbot development or basic coding assistant usage does not meet this criterion)
  • Verifiable passion for EdTech
