Senior Applied AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies face a critical obstacle: creating learning content that captures student attention while adapting to their individual needs. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all tools that fail to deliver results. Studies show that when educational resources don't resonate with learners or adjust to diverse learning preferences, student engagement declines sharply, leaving a void in meaningful educational outcomes. This burden falls disproportionately on teachers, who must deliver customized, high-caliber instruction within severe time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through advanced AI-powered content generation. Our mission extends beyond developing AI utilities—we engineer intelligent systems that produce adaptive, individualized learning resources. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge engine that delivers compelling, responsive content at scale. This strategy distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands what AI can achieve in education, making learning more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering roles. You won't spend your time confined to coding exercises or theoretical model work. You'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual progress—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to solve real educational challenges.

In this role, you'll architect AI-powered educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how students engage with content. You'll employ LLMs as subject-matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that resonates and delivers measurable outcomes. If the prospect of leveraging AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Systems: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by feedback from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Frameworks and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject experts to create and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and proprietary organizational intelligence.
  • Developing data architectures that deliver contextual reinforcement for business operations, guaranteeing scalable and efficient data models.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the competitive landscape by producing compelling, individualized educational materials using AI-driven technologies

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven track record integrating LLMs into production software products (building chatbots or utilizing basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Clear, demonstrable interest in the EdTech sector
