Senior Applied AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The educational technology industry is confronting a critical issue: creating learning content that genuinely engages students while adapting to their individual requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all, low-impact learning solutions, making differentiation increasingly difficult. Evidence shows that educational materials which fail to resonate with learners or adjust to diverse learning preferences result in sharp declines in engagement, leaving a void in meaningful educational experiences. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within limited time frames and budgetary resources.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through strategic application of artificial intelligence to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond merely creating AI tools—we engineer AI-powered systems that produce adaptive, learner-centric educational materials. Envision an intelligent knowledge base functioning as a "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated repository that generates compelling, responsive content at scale. This forward-thinking methodology distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace and expands what AI can achieve in education, rendering learning more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering roles. Your work will extend beyond writing code or developing theoretical AI models. You'll spearhead initiatives that fundamentally alter how students engage with content by architecting and deploying AI-enabled workflows that deliver genuinely individualized learning experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology toward tangible educational outcomes.

As an integral team member, you'll architect AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to reshape learning at scale. You'll deploy LLMs as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content with both substance and impact. If the prospect of leveraging AI to fundamentally change education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we encourage your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI tools, crafting effective prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain experts and end users.
  • Developing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-matter authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures specialized knowledge and organizational intelligence.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual support for core business logic, guaranteeing data models that are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive LearnWith.AI's competitive differentiation by producing engaging, individualized educational content using advanced AI tools

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Proven experience integrating LLMs into production software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Demonstrated interest in educational technology
