Description

Educational technology companies confront a fundamental problem: producing learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. The market is saturated with generic tools that fail to deliver meaningful results. Evidence shows that when instructional materials don't resonate with learners or accommodate their distinct learning preferences, student engagement declines sharply, resulting in less effective educational outcomes. This situation intensifies pressure on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within tight time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge by applying AI to transform how educational content is developed. Rather than simply creating AI utilities, we build AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, individualized learning resources. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, adaptive materials efficiently and at scale. This strategy distinguishes us in a competitive landscape and expands what AI can accomplish in education, making learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering assignments. You won't spend your time solely writing code or developing theoretical AI models. You'll spearhead efforts to reshape student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for forward-thinking innovators ready to apply advanced technology to achieve tangible, real-world results.

In this role, you'll architect AI-powered educational platforms capable of transforming the learning environment. You'll apply LLMs as subject matter specialists to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is both relevant and effective. If the prospect of leveraging AI to redefine education excites you and you're prepared to own initiatives that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Building Self-Improving AI Content Generation Systems – Agent-driven workflows that generate educational content and iteratively self-improve via eval loops and experimentation.
  • Designing Context Packs – Structured knowledge artifacts that provide domain grounding and enable systems to generate accurate, high-quality educational content across subjects.
  • Creating Evaluation Sets & Experiment Harnesses – Curated datasets (inputs → expected outputs) and scoring systems used to measure, compare, and optimize AI-generated content quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Help LearnWith.AI differentiate itself from the rest of the pack by generating engaging and personalized educational content with AI tools

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of experience as a software engineer
  • Professional experience integrating LLMs into a software product (experience building a chatbot or using simple coding assistants is not sufficient)
  • Experience curating evaluation or regression sets driving self-improving systems and defining measurable success criteria
  • Experience shipping a production system where a self-improving agent drove the iteration on the system itself (e.g., designed its own tools, refined its own reward function, etc.)
  • Experience with modern agent-orchestration tooling (e.g., LangChain, LangGraph)
