Lead AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry confronts a critical obstacle: creating educational content that engages learners while addressing individual student requirements. A flood of generic, low-impact learning platforms saturates the market, making differentiation more important than ever. Evidence shows that when educational resources fail to resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning preferences, engagement plummets, resulting in a deficit of meaningful learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver high-quality, individualized instruction within tight time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond creating AI tools—we're engineering AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-centered educational materials. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content at scale. This forward-thinking methodology not only distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace but also expands the horizons for AI applications in education, making learning more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering assignments. You won't be confined to programming tasks or theoretical AI model development. You'll spearhead the transformation of student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity isn't suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create tangible impact.

As an integral part of our team, you'll architect AI-driven educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll deploy LLMs as subject-area specialists to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is both substantive and transformative. If the prospect of using AI to redefine education excites you and you're prepared to assume ownership of initiatives that expand the limits of feasibility, we welcome your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and optimizing workflows through iterative feedback from domain experts and end users.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject specialists to create and sustain documentation that captures knowledge and distinctive organizational intelligence.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual foundation for business operations, ensuring performant and scalable data architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to stand apart from competitors by producing compelling and individualized educational content through AI-powered solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience embedding LLMs into production software products (basic chatbot development or simple coding assistant usage does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in educational technology
