Lead AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies are confronted with a critical obstacle: creating learning materials that resonate with students while addressing their individual requirements. The market is saturated with standardized, low-impact educational resources, making differentiation increasingly essential. Evidence shows that educational content failing to engage learners or accommodate diverse learning preferences leads to substantial declines in participation, resulting in gaps within effective educational delivery. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within significant time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging artificial intelligence to transform how educational content is produced. Our focus extends beyond simply creating AI tools—we are engineering AI-powered systems that produce adaptive, individualized learning resources. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content efficiently and at scale. This forward-thinking methodology distinguishes us within a competitive landscape while simultaneously expanding what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning that is more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering opportunities. Your work will extend well beyond writing code or developing theoretical AI architectures. You will spearhead efforts to redefine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This role does not suit individuals who favor routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it is designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to generate tangible, real-world outcomes.

In this pivotal position, you will architect AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to fundamentally alter the learning environment. You will employ LLMs as subject-matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is substantive and consequential. If the prospect of deploying AI to transform education excites you, and you are prepared to assume full ownership of initiatives that challenge existing limitations, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Developing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject-matter authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and proprietary organizational expertise.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual reinforcement for business logic, guaranteeing efficient and scalable data architecture.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to stand apart from competitors by producing compelling, individualized educational materials through AI-driven solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Demonstrated experience embedding LLMs within a software product (building a chatbot or utilizing basic coding assistants does not meet this requirement)
  • Verifiable interest in EdTach
