Lead AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies today confront a critical obstacle: producing learning content that engages students while adapting to their individual requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all solutions that fail to deliver meaningful results. Evidence shows that when learning materials don't resonate with students or adjust to their distinct learning preferences, participation declines sharply, leaving a void in effective educational delivery. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within significant time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI is addressing this challenge directly through AI-powered content generation systems. We're building more than AI utilities—we're creating intelligent frameworks that produce adaptive, student-centered educational resources. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that can generate compelling, responsive content on demand. This strategy distinguishes us in a competitive landscape and expands what AI can accomplish in education, making learning more impactful, engaging, and widely available.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering jobs. You won't spend your time solely writing code or refining theoretical models. You'll spearhead efforts to transform student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered systems that deliver genuinely personalized educational content. This role isn't suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual optimization—it's designed for forward-thinking innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create tangible change.

In this capacity, you'll architect AI-based educational platforms with the capacity to reshape how learning happens. You'll deploy LLMs as specialized knowledge sources to construct contextual content libraries and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces material that matters. If the prospect of leveraging AI to redefine education excites you, and you're prepared to own initiatives that expand the frontier of possibility, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI technologies, crafting effective prompts, and iterating on workflows with input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as specialized experts to create and sustain documentation that captures domain knowledge and proprietary organizational understanding.
  • Engineering data architectures that deliver contextual information to support core business functions, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive LearnWith.AI's competitive positioning by producing personalized, engaging educational materials using advanced AI capabilities

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven track record integrating LLMs into production software applications (basic chatbot development or casual use of coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Clear evidence of interest in the EdTech space
