Lead AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry is grappling with a critical issue: creating educational content that engages learners while adapting to their individual needs. The market is flooded with generic, ineffective learning solutions, making differentiation more important than ever. Evidence shows that when educational resources fail to resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning approaches, engagement declines sharply, resulting in a deficit of meaningful learning opportunities. This burden falls heavily on educators, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within limited time and resource frameworks.

LearnWith.AI is addressing this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform content development. We're not simply creating AI utilities—we're building intelligent systems that produce dynamic, learner-specific educational materials. Imagine an AI-driven "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, adaptive content on a large scale. This forward-thinking strategy not only sets us apart in a saturated marketplace but also reimagines the role of AI in education, making learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This is not a conventional AI engineering position. You won't be confined to programming or developing theoretical AI frameworks. Rather, you'll spearhead efforts to transform how students engage with content by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized learning. This role is unsuitable for those who favor routine tasks or gradual refinements—it's designed for bold innovators ready to apply advanced technology to achieve tangible, real-world outcomes.

As an integral part of our team, you'll architect AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll harness LLMs as subject matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge resources and intelligent learning companions, ensuring our AI produces content that is both substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education energizes you and you're prepared to own projects that expand the frontier of what's achievable, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and optimizing workflows in response to input from domain experts and end users.
  • Developing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject authorities to create and sustain documents that capture knowledge and distinctive organizational expertise.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual foundation for business operations, guaranteeing performant and scalable data architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in a competitive landscape by producing compelling and individualized educational content through AI-driven tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into a software product (building a chatbot or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in EdTech
