Principal AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry is grappling with a critical issue: creating educational content that is simultaneously compelling and customized to each student's individual requirements. Given the saturation of generic, low-impact learning platforms in the marketplace, differentiation has become more essential than ever. Evidence shows that educational resources failing to resonate with learners or adjust to their distinctive learning preferences result in sharp declines in engagement, producing a deficit in meaningful educational outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver superior, individualized instruction while operating under significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI is confronting this challenge directly by leveraging AI capabilities to transform content development. Our work extends beyond simply creating AI tools—we are engineering AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, learner-centered educational materials. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge system designed to deliver compelling, responsive content at scale. This groundbreaking methodology not only distinguishes us within a competitive landscape but also expands what AI can achieve in education, rendering learning more attainable, impactful, and engaging.

This is not a conventional AI engineering position. You will not be confined to programming tasks or developing theoretical AI frameworks. Rather, you will spearhead efforts to reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those who favor routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it is designed for driven innovators prepared to apply advanced technology to achieve tangible, real-world outcomes.

As an integral contributor to our team, you will architect AI-enabled educational solutions with the capacity to fundamentally alter the learning ecosystem. You will apply LLMs as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent learning systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is both substantive and consequential. If the prospect of utilizing AI to revolutionize education excites you and you are prepared to assume ownership of initiatives that extend the limits of what can be accomplished, we encourage you to connect with us.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and optimizing workflows in response to input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Developing Context Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as specialized domain authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures knowledge and distinctive institutional insights.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual reinforcement for business logic, guaranteeing efficient and scalable data architectures.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI in distinguishing itself within the competitive landscape by producing compelling and individualized educational content through AI technologies

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience as a software engineer
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into a software product (building a chatbot or utilizing basic coding assistants does not meet this requirement)
  • Verifiable interest in EdTech
