Principal AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry is grappling with a critical issue: creating educational content that engages learners while addressing individual student requirements. A flood of one-size-fits-all, low-impact learning platforms saturates the market, making differentiation essential. Evidence shows that educational resources failing to resonate with students or accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to sharp declines in engagement, leaving a void in meaningful learning outcomes. Educators bear the burden of delivering personalized, high-caliber instruction under significant time and budgetary pressures.

LearnWith.AI confronts this challenge directly through the strategic application of AI to transform content generation. We are building more than AI utilities—we are engineering AI-powered frameworks that produce adaptive, learner-centric educational materials. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that delivers compelling, responsive content at scale. This approach distinguishes us in a saturated marketplace while expanding the scope of AI's role in education, enhancing accessibility, effectiveness, and learner satisfaction.

This is not a conventional AI engineering position. You will not be confined to routine coding tasks or theoretical model development. You will spearhead efforts to redefine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is designed for forward-thinking innovators who thrive on leveraging advanced technology to create tangible impact, not for those seeking predictable assignments or incremental refinements.

As an integral part of our team, you will architect AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You will deploy LLMs as subject-matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, guaranteeing that our AI produces content that is substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you and you are prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we want to connect with you.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Integrating diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Deploying LLMs as subject-area experts to create and sustain documentation that captures organizational knowledge and specialized insights.
  • Engineering data structures that deliver contextual scaffolding for business operations, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Contribute to LearnWith.AI's competitive positioning by producing engaging, personalized educational content through advanced AI solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of software engineering experience
  • Proven professional experience embedding LLMs into software products (building chatbots or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest in the EdTech sector
