Principal AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies must solve a critical problem: creating learning content that engages students while addressing their individual needs. The market is saturated with standardized, low-impact tools, making differentiation essential. Evidence shows that educational materials disconnected from student learning preferences or lacking adaptability lead to sharp declines in engagement, resulting in ineffective learning outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-quality instruction within significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform content development. Our mission goes beyond creating AI tools—we are building AI-powered systems that produce dynamic, individualized learning resources. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge base that generates compelling, adaptive educational content at scale. This strategy not only sets us apart in a competitive landscape but also expands what AI can achieve in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from typical AI engineering roles. You will not be confined to coding tasks or theoretical model development. Instead, you'll spearhead efforts to reshape student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those seeking routine assignments or gradual enhancements—it's designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to create measurable real-world change.

As an integral part of our team, you will architect AI-driven educational platforms with the capacity to redefine the learning environment. You'll employ LLMs as specialized domain experts to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent learning assistants, ensuring our AI produces content that is both relevant and transformative. If the prospect of using AI to revolutionize education excites you and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining multiple AI tools, refining prompts, and iterating on workflows using feedback from users and subject matter experts.
  • Developing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as domain specialists to create and maintain documents that capture organizational insights and domain knowledge.
  • Creating and implementing data structures that deliver contextual support for business logic, ensuring data models are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Differentiate LearnWith.AI in the competitive landscape by producing personalized and engaging educational content using AI-driven tools

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience integrating LLMs into software products (chatbot development or basic use of coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Clear and demonstrable interest in educational technology
