Principal AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The EdTech industry confronts a critical challenge: creating educational content that engages learners while addressing individual student requirements. A proliferation of generic, low-impact learning solutions saturates the market, making differentiation essential. Evidence shows that when educational resources fail to resonate with students or accommodate their distinct learning preferences, engagement declines sharply, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. This burden falls disproportionately on educators, who must deliver high-quality, personalized instruction under significant time and resource limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly by leveraging AI to transform content development. Our focus extends beyond building AI tools—we are engineering AI-driven systems that produce dynamic, student-centered learning materials. Envision an AI-powered "Second Brain" for disciplines such as Science or History—a sophisticated knowledge repository that generates compelling, adaptive content at scale. This strategic approach distinguishes us in a saturated market and expands the potential applications of AI in education, enhancing accessibility, efficacy, and learner engagement.

This role differs from conventional AI engineering positions. You will not be confined to coding tasks or theoretical AI model development. Instead, you will spearhead efforts to reimagine student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows that deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This position is not suited for those who favor routine assignments or incremental optimization—it is designed for driven innovators ready to apply advanced technology to achieve measurable, real-world outcomes.

As an integral member of our team, you will architect AI-powered educational solutions with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You will deploy LLMs as domain specialists to construct contextual knowledge frameworks and intelligent learning assistants, ensuring our AI produces content that is both substantive and impactful. If the prospect of using AI to redefine education excites you, and you are prepared to assume ownership of projects that challenge existing limits, we encourage you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Driven Workflows: Combining diverse AI tools, prompt engineering, and iterative workflow refinement informed by feedback from subject matter experts and end users.
  • Developing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as domain specialists to create and sustain documents that capture knowledge and proprietary organizational expertise.
  • Architecting and implementing data structures that deliver contextual support for business logic, ensuring scalable and efficient data models.

Key responsibilities

  • Enable LearnWith.AI to distinguish itself in the market by producing engaging, personalized educational content using AI technologies

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience as a software engineer
  • Proven professional experience integrating LLMs into a software product (building a chatbot or using basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Demonstrable interest in EdTech
