Staff AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies confront a persistent obstacle: creating content that captivates students while adapting to their individual learning requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all tools that often miss the mark. Studies show that educational resources failing to resonate with learners or accommodate diverse learning preferences lead to sharp declines in student engagement, leaving a void in meaningful educational outcomes. This burden falls heavily on teachers, who must deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction within the constraints of limited time and resources.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through AI-powered innovation that transforms content generation. Rather than simply deploying AI tools, we engineer intelligent systems that produce adaptive, student-centered learning materials. Imagine an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for domains such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge engine that delivers compelling, responsive content at scale. This strategy distinguishes us in a competitive landscape and expands what AI can accomplish in educational settings, driving learning that is more inclusive, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs from conventional AI engineering opportunities. Your work will extend beyond routine coding or theoretical model development. You'll spearhead initiatives that fundamentally alter student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows designed to deliver genuinely individualized educational experiences. This role does not suit individuals seeking predictable assignments or marginal enhancements—it is intended for bold innovators committed to leveraging advanced technology for tangible, real-world outcomes.

Joining our team, you'll architect AI-enabled educational platforms with the capacity to reshape the learning environment. You'll deploy LLMs as subject matter authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent learning companions, guaranteeing that our AI produces content with depth and relevance. If the prospect of applying AI to transform education excites you, and you're prepared to own projects that challenge conventional limits, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompts, and iterating on workflows informed by input from domain specialists and end users.
  • Constructing Context Packs and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as subject experts to create and curate documents capturing institutional knowledge and domain-specific insights.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual backing for core business operations, guaranteeing data models that are both efficient and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Support LearnWith.AI in establishing a competitive edge by producing captivating, individualized educational content through AI-driven solutions

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven experience embedding LLMs into production software products (experience limited to chatbot development or basic coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Demonstrable enthusiasm for educational technology
