Staff AI Engineer   $200,000 USD/year

Description

Educational technology companies are confronting a critical issue: creating learning content that resonates with students while addressing their individual requirements. The market is saturated with one-size-fits-all learning solutions that fail to deliver meaningful results. Evidence shows that educational resources unable to align with students' distinct learning approaches lead to sharp declines in engagement, resulting in suboptimal learning outcomes. Educators face mounting pressure to deliver personalized, high-caliber instruction while operating under significant time and budget limitations.

LearnWith.AI addresses this challenge directly through strategic AI implementation that transforms content development. Our focus extends beyond conventional AI tooling—we engineer AI-powered systems designed to produce dynamic learning materials customized for each student. Envision an AI-enabled "Second Brain" for disciplines such as History or Science—a sophisticated knowledge system that generates compelling, responsive content efficiently and at scale. This methodology distinguishes us within a competitive landscape while expanding the frontier of AI applications in education, delivering learning experiences that are more accessible, impactful, and engaging.

This position differs fundamentally from typical AI engineering roles. Your work will transcend routine coding tasks and theoretical model development. You will spearhead initiatives that fundamentally alter student learning by architecting and deploying AI-powered workflows designed to deliver genuinely personalized educational experiences. This opportunity is not suited for those seeking predictable assignments or incremental progress—it requires ambitious innovators committed to leveraging advanced technology for tangible, real-world transformation.

In this capacity, you will architect AI-driven educational platforms with the capacity to fundamentally reshape the learning environment. You will deploy LLMs as specialized domain authorities to construct contextual knowledge repositories and intelligent tutoring systems, ensuring our AI produces content that is substantive and transformative. If the prospect of applying AI to revolutionize education excites you, and you are prepared to assume ownership of projects that challenge conventional boundaries, we invite your application.

What you will be doing

  • Architecting AI-Powered Workflows: Combining diverse AI technologies, crafting prompt engineering strategies, and optimizing workflows through iterative feedback from domain experts and end users.
  • Constructing Knowledge Repositories and Second Brains: Leveraging LLMs as specialized domain authorities to create and sustain documentation that captures institutional knowledge and distinctive organizational perspectives.
  • Architecting and deploying data structures that deliver contextual support for core business logic, guaranteeing data models that are both performant and scalable.

Key responsibilities

  • Drive LearnWith.AI's competitive differentiation by producing compelling, individualized educational content through sophisticated AI tool integration

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional software engineering experience
  • Proven professional experience embedding LLMs into production software products (basic chatbot development or use of simple coding assistants does not qualify)
  • Verifiable interest and engagement in the EdTech sector
