Description

Ready to revolutionize educational finance? Welcome to the intersection of AI innovation and financial leadership where traditional CFO playbooks get rewritten.

At Trilogy, we're not just managing finances—we're architecting the future of educational funding. Our portfolio of groundbreaking K-12 schools and EdTech platforms demands a visionary who can build financial systems as innovative as our educational models.

This role is for the builder, the innovator, the architect who sees beyond spreadsheets and headcounts. You'll be crafting an AI-powered financial ecosystem that scales effortlessly with our ambitious growth trajectory. Your canvas? The entire financial infrastructure supporting tomorrow's educational breakthroughs.

Impact millions of students' learning journeys by designing financial systems that make the impossible possible. This isn't about maintaining the status quo—it's about defining the next evolution in educational finance.

What you will be doing

Your mission is to pioneer the future of educational finance:

  • Pioneer an AI-first financial architecture that sets new standards in educational business operations
  • Craft strategic design decisions that transform complex financial workflows into elegant, scalable solutions
  • Shape the future of finance operations through expert written guidance that elevates both AI systems and human teams
  • Drive critical decisions in strategic planning sessions focused on growth, vendor partnerships, and compliance excellence
  • Orchestrate seamless financial operations across tuition management, audits, and tax compliance at unprecedented scale

What you will NOT be doing

Let's be clear about what this role isn't:

  • Overseeing a traditional, large-scale finance department
  • Getting bogged down in routine monthly closing procedures or transaction approvals
  • Settling for off-the-shelf ERP solutions
  • Operating from the sidelines—you'll be hands-on in the transformation
  • Managing steady-state operations—we're in high-growth, high-innovation mode

Key responsibilities

Design, implement, and oversee a cutting-edge AI-powered financial ecosystem that drives multiple education ventures to new heights, emphasizing efficiency, scalability, and zero redundancy.

Candidate requirements

The ideal architect of our financial future will bring:

  • Professional certification (CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA)
  • A decade-plus trajectory of progressive finance leadership experience
  • Proven track record in C-suite or senior finance positions with comprehensive financial oversight
  • Mastery of US GAAP and financial statement integration
  • Extensive ERP system expertise, particularly in complex organizational structures
  • Substantial Big 4 audit experience (minimum 5 audits, either side of the table)
  • Superior communication capabilities in English, ready for executive-level discourse
  • Geographic alignment within UTC-8 to UTC+3 zones

Nice to have

Extra points for:

  • Deep understanding of U.S. K-12 education landscape, including private, charter, and ESA programs
  • Track record in developing AI-enhanced financial automation systems
  • Proven success navigating multi-entity, cross-jurisdictional financial operations
