Senior Content Producer   $400,000 USD/year

Description

You understand what separates content that simply goes live from content that audiences actively share. If you've personally grown an audience by shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing your own videos, this role offers the chance to replicate that success—now by helping establish a school dedicated to teaching teenagers how to become founders.

Founders School is creating a new education model for driven teens who aspire to build companies rather than postpone entrepreneurship until they're older. We're looking for someone capable of transforming founder discussions, student milestones, and entrepreneurial narratives into platform-optimized content that captures organic attention. Your performance won't hinge on editorial calendars, brand compliance, or vendor coordination. Instead, it will depend on one metric: whether the audience expands and qualified families express interest in enrollment.

This is a hands-on creator position framed as a senior role. You'll personally identify narratives, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit videos, publish releases, and continuously refine content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms. AI should already be integrated into your research, editing, repurposing, and optimization workflows. Each piece of content functions as a test. Each test reveals insights about what ambitious teens and entrepreneurial families choose to watch. If you've grown audiences organically, excel in founder-driven settings, and want your output to influence the launch of a national brand, we're eager to review your work. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Create founder-centric content yourself by scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and optimizing videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and similar creator platforms.
  • Transform founder interviews, student narratives, live events, and unpolished footage into engaging stories that ambitious teens and their parents naturally choose to watch and share.
  • Execute fast-cycle experiments involving hooks, thumbnails, titles, content formats, editing approaches, posting frequency, and distribution tactics to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Leverage analytics platforms and AI tools to enhance content quality, accelerate production timelines, and elevate performance with each new release.
  • Develop the creator-driven media operation that produces qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid media.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing agencies, production contractors, or teams who handle content creation on your behalf.
  • Reviewing and approving creative from a distance rather than personally producing high-impact content.
  • Executing traditional school marketing, corporate branding initiatives, or managing a fixed social media posting schedule.
  • Prioritizing superficial metrics or depending on paid advertising over earning organic audience engagement.
  • Allocating significant time to meetings about content rather than actively creating it.

Key responsibilities

Personally construct Founders School's creator-driven media operation to produce 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries during the first 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Candidate requirements

  • Verified experience in one of the following:
    • Personally grew an audience from zero to millions either as a creator or as an early team member of a creator operation, or
    • Worked directly within an elite founder-led content operation with documented responsibility for content production and audience expansion.
  • A portfolio containing 2–3 content pieces you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and published with quantifiable organic results.
  • Documented ability to articulate your direct role in audience growth through metrics including subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Advanced hands-on capabilities in scripting, filming, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video content.
  • Strong instincts for founder-driven narratives and platform-specific content creation.
  • Regular use of AI tools to speed up research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance optimization.
  • Currently based in, or willing to relocate to, New York, NY within 60 days.
  • Authorized to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven companies.
  • Experience building a media brand or channel from the ground up.
  • Strong grasp of what appeals to ambitious teenagers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
  • Experience converting analytics into scalable content frameworks.
