Founding Content Creator   $400,000 USD/year

Description

You understand what separates content that simply exists from content that people feel compelled to share. If you've independently grown an audience by shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing your own videos, this is a chance to replicate that success—this time supporting the launch of a school that trains teenagers to become company founders.

Founders School is establishing a new educational model for driven teens who want to build companies now rather than postpone entrepreneurship until later in life. We're looking for someone capable of transforming founder dialogues, student milestones, and entrepreneurial experiences into platform-optimized content that captures attention through organic reach. Your performance won't be evaluated based on editorial calendars, branding documents, or vendor coordination. Instead, it will hinge on a single metric: whether the audience expands and qualified families seek enrollment.

This position is fundamentally a creator role with a leadership designation. You will personally handle story identification, hook development, filming, editing, publishing, and continuous content refinement across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms. AI integration should already be standard in how you approach research, editing, repurposing, and optimization. Each content piece represents a test. Each test reveals insights about what ambitious teenagers and entrepreneurial families prefer to consume. If you've grown audiences organically, excel in founder-driven settings, and want your contributions to influence a national brand's debut, we're eager to review your portfolio. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Create founder-focused content end-to-end by handling scripting, filming, editing, packaging, publishing, and optimization across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and additional creator platforms.
  • Convert founder discussions, student achievements, events, and unpolished footage into engaging narratives that naturally attract viewership and sharing among ambitious teens and their parents.
  • Execute fast-paced testing of hooks, thumbnails, titles, formats, editing approaches, publishing frequency, and distribution methods to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Apply analytics platforms and AI solutions to enhance content craftsmanship, production efficiency, and outcome metrics with each publication.
  • Establish the creator-driven media system that produces qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid marketing.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing external agencies, production contractors, or teams responsible for content creation on your behalf.
  • Reviewing and approving creative work from a distance rather than hands-on production of effective content.
  • Executing traditional academic marketing, enterprise branding initiatives, or managing a predetermined social posting schedule.
  • Pursuing superficial engagement numbers or depending on paid media instead of cultivating organic audience development.
  • Allocating time to meetings about content strategy rather than actively producing it.

Key responsibilities

Build Founders School's creator-driven media infrastructure personally to deliver 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries in the first 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated background in one of these areas:
    • Built an audience from zero to millions independently as a creator or as an early contributor to a creator team, or
    • Contributed directly within an elite founder-driven content operation with documented ownership of content production and audience development.
  • Portfolio showcasing 2–3 content examples you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and distributed with verifiable organic results.
  • Proven capability to articulate your specific role in audience expansion through metrics including subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Advanced practical expertise in scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video material.
  • Sharp intuition for founder narratives and platform-specific content development.
  • Regular utilization of AI tools to expedite research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance enhancement.
  • Based in New York, NY or prepared to relocate within 60 days.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven enterprises.
  • Track record launching a media brand or channel from inception.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of content themes that resonate with driven teenagers and young entrepreneurs.
  • Ability to transform performance data into scalable content frameworks.
