Description

Are you a corporate finance leader who has experience automating menial finance operations? Are you adept at leveraging AI tools to streamline processes, leaving no room for human error? If you thrive on hands-on engagement with finance tasks, seeking out and addressing discrepancies through advanced ERP systems and AI-driven solutions, then we want to connect with you.

At Trilogy, you will spearhead the evolution of our finance department into a completely autonomous entity, devoid of human intervention. Take the lead in shaping the financial landscape for over 100 acquired software companies, where we revolutionize traditional practices by establishing automated processes for every task using the latest generative AI technology.

To lead our ambitious initiative, we are seeking a hardworking, hands-on leader with a strong foundation in accounting and finance fundamentals (US GAAP or IFRS). Your enthusiasm for automation and process simplification is crucial, and we will provide the necessary training to equip you for success in this groundbreaking role. Join us and experience a learning curve like no other, where one month here equals a year of growth elsewhere.

What you will be doing

  • Using your financial systems expertise to simplify complex tasks and infuse AI-driven insights into day-to-day operations
  • Leading with your finance systems expertise: You will guide the team with the finance systems experience you’ve gained over the years, pointing them in the right direction to simplify the most complex tasks

What you will NOT be doing

  • Depending on traditional finance methods without leveraging the potential of AI
  • Project managing the work of low-level managers. We lead by doing, not by being hands-off.
  • Overseeing steady-state operations. Our culture is continuous improvement. You will never stop improving quality and productivity with deep knowledge and hard evidence.

Key responsibilities

  • Build a completely autonomous finance department using generative AI tools

Candidate requirements

  • CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA or MBA
  • Experience working in a finance or accounting role for a USD $100M+ organization
  • Experience: (i) being an auditor at a top 10 global accounting firm for at least 5 years; or (ii) being audited by a top 10 global accounting firm at least 5 times
  • Professional experience working with a large business ERP (e.g. NetSuite, SAP)
  • Experience using generative AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Bing, Claude, Bard) in a professional setting
