What you will be doing
- Facilitating Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that inspire students to think, "I didn't realize I was capable of this!" From public speaking to entrepreneurship, you'll teach practical skills that motivate.
- Conducting daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and cultivate the mindset to achieve them.
- Driving student achievement: Apply proven frameworks to ensure every student reaches ambitious academic and personal objectives.
- Developing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to create rewards and incentives that encourage self-motivated excellence.
What you will NOT be doing
- Traditional teaching: Leave behind chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students utilize advanced apps to master core subjects—your role is to mentor, inspire, and enhance their learning experience.
- Disciplining: We reject punitive approaches. Instead, you'll apply logic and positive reinforcement to foster a respectful, engaging atmosphere.
Candidate requirements
- Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. We provide relocation assistance.
- Bachelor's degree in any subject.
- Experience applying a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
- High energy level and a commitment to uplifting others.
- A passion for connecting with, inspiring, and motivating K-8th grade students.
- Legal authorization to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
