Alpha operates one of the most unconventional schools you'll encounter. Students don't occupy rows while listening to lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning applications at individual speeds. The AI manages instructional delivery. Your responsibility is facilitating life skills workshops that command the attention of K-8 students, conducting motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintaining standards when students attempt to drift. Academic progress is automated. You manage the human dimension.

Educators who consistently achieve results (100% cohort attainment of weekly app goals, satisfaction scores above 90%) advance into Lead Guide positions where they mentor other educators in refining their practice. What you will be doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops for K-8 students on topics including public speaking, concentration, and constructive feedback exchange
- Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to verify genuine skill acquisition, not passive attendance
- Conducting daily motivation sessions informed by student profiles, personal interests, and Coachbot analytics to ensure 100% of your cohort reaches weekly app progression goals
- Utilizing storytelling techniques, incentive structures (campus currency, leaderboards), and individual rapport to overcome student resistance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction metrics with a target of 90%+ on student surveys
What you will NOT be doing
- Lecturing at a whiteboard. Students progress academically via self-directed AI-powered applications, not through direct instruction from you.
- Supervising idle screen time. While students work on computers, active engagement defines your role.
- Compromising standards when students resist. Test2Pass expectations remain firm, even during difficult weeks.
- Creating curriculum independently. Workshop playbooks and lesson frameworks are supplied; your responsibility is executing them with the presence and narrative skill that ensures genuine student absorption.
- Handling parent communications, admissions processes, or campus operations. Those functions belong to separate roles.

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any field
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
- Strong storytelling and facilitation presence — capable of sustaining the attention of a room of children for one hour
- Prepared to work on-site at the Alpha campus in Brownsville, TX
- Authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program coordinator
- Demonstrated history of high achievement in competitive contexts (academic, athletic, or professional)
- Familiarity with self-directed or application-based learning environments
