You've invested years coaching students — not instructing them. You understand the distinction: coaching means connecting, pushing boundaries, and refusing to accept anything less than a student's peak performance. Instruction means delivering material. You've never been a mechanism for content distribution.
Alpha operates the most unorthodox school model you'll encounter. Students aren't arranged in rows receiving lectures. They progress through AI-driven learning applications at individualized speeds. AI manages the academic instruction. Your responsibility is to facilitate life skills workshops that captivate K-8 students, conduct motivation sessions that drive them toward weekly learning targets, and maintain standards when a student attempts to disengage. The academic progression handles itself. You manage the human dimension.
This position offers a meaningful advancement path, and that path leads to greater student influence. Educators who reliably achieve their metrics (100% cohort achievement of weekly app targets, satisfaction scores above 90%) advance into Lead Guide positions where they mentor other educators in refining this methodology. Students remain the focal point.

What you will be doing
- Facilitating one-hour life skills workshops with K-8 students addressing public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange
- Administering Test2Pass mastery assessments following each workshop to validate that students have internalized the skill, not merely attended
- Conducting daily motivation sessions utilizing student profiles, interests, and Coachbot analytics to achieve 100% cohort completion of weekly app progression goals
- Employing storytelling, incentive structures (school currency, leaderboards), and individual relationships to overcome student reluctance
- Monitoring cohort satisfaction scores to maintain a 90%+ benchmark on student surveys
What you will NOT be doing
- Lecturing from the front of a classroom. Students progress academically via self-directed AI-powered applications, not through direct instruction from you.
- Supervising passively. Children using computers is the context; active facilitation is the function.
- Compromising standards when students resist. Test2Pass benchmarks remain firm, regardless of whether a student faces a difficult week.
- Developing curriculum independently. Workshop frameworks and lesson plans are supplied; your role is to execute them with the storytelling skill and presence that ensures genuine student absorption.
- Handling parent relations, conducting admissions processes, or supervising campus operations. Those belong to a separate role.

Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline
- Minimum 3 years of direct experience working with K-8 (elementary and middle school) students
- Strong storytelling and facilitation skills — capable of sustaining children's engagement for an hour
- Willingness to work on-site at the Alpha campus in Brownsville, TX
- Legal authorization to work in the US without requiring visa sponsorship
Nice to have
- Experience as an athletic coach, camp counselor, or youth program coordinator
- Demonstrated history of high achievement in competitive settings (academic, athletic, or professional)
- Familiarity with self-directed or app-based learning models
