Description

LOCATION NOTE: This role requires in-person presence at our Brownsville, Texas campus. We provide relocation assistance.

Do you excel at challenging conventional approaches? Are you seeking an experience that combines meaningful challenge, adventure, and the opportunity to transform lives? Alpha Schools operates at the intersection of educational innovation and unlimited possibility—and you're invited to join our transformative work at the Brownsville campus.

Alpha represents more than a school; it's a fundamental shift. Set aside lectures, traditional classrooms, and standardized testing. Picture instead an environment where children learn twice as much in half the time, supported by you—a dynamic, motivating guide—who transforms education into an engaging pursuit of mastery and essential life competencies. One more thing: SpaceX is our neighbor. The frontier of learning meets the frontier of space.

Alpha students don't simply learn. They excel academically through adaptive technology and mastery-focused approaches while simultaneously building critical life competencies such as public speaking, leadership, and problem-solving. We need someone who can ignite the drive that propels students to embrace challenges and expand their capabilities.

Consider applying if…

  • You're prepared to help reimagine education's possibilities.
  • You have experience motivating, inspiring, or coaching young people in non-traditional environments (athletic coach, camp counselor, etc.).
  • You're a role model who radiates enthusiasm for excellence.

Why Alpha?

  • An exceptional adventure: This transcends a typical job—it's an invitation to participate in an educational revolution within a distinctive, dynamic community.
  • Transformational impact: Shape a new generation of learners who excel academically and emotionally.
  • Competitive pay: You deserve fair compensation for work you're passionate about.
  • Growth opportunities: We invest in your development through coaching, training, and leadership advancement.
  • A tight-knit, mission-driven team: Become part of a community of high achievers committed to reimagining education.

This is your opportunity to shape the future of learning—and advance your career.

What you will be doing

  • Leading Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that prompt students to say, "I didn't know I was capable of that!" From entrepreneurship to public speaking, you'll teach practical skills that energize.
  • Facilitating daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day by helping students establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset to achieve them.
  • Cultivating student success: Apply proven frameworks to ensure every student achieves demanding academic and personal objectives.
  • Creating custom motivational strategies: Collaborate with students to develop rewards and incentives that foster self-motivated excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Traditional teaching: Leave behind chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students utilize cutting-edge applications to master core subjects—your role is to guide, inspire, and enhance their learning experience.
  • Disciplining: We reject punishment-based approaches. Instead, you'll employ logic and positive reinforcement to establish a respectful, engaging atmosphere.
