What you will be doing

  • Leading Workshops: Create and deliver workshops that prompt students to think, "I never realized I was capable of this!" From public speaking to entrepreneurship, you'll provide practical skills that motivate.
  • Facilitating daily Motivation Sessions: Begin each day guiding students to establish ambitious goals and develop the mindset required to achieve them.
  • Driving student achievement: Apply tested frameworks to ensure every student reaches demanding academic and personal objectives.
  • Developing personalized motivational approaches: Collaborate with students to create rewards and incentive systems that foster intrinsic excellence.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Traditional teaching: Move past chalkboards and lectures. At Alpha, students leverage advanced applications to master core content—your function is to guide, inspire, and enhance their educational experience.
  • Disciplining: We reject punitive approaches. Instead, you'll employ reasoning and positive reinforcement to foster a respectful, dynamic environment.

Candidate requirements

  • Willingness to work in person in Brownsville, TX. Relocation assistance is available.
  • Bachelor's degree in any subject.
  • Experience employing a growth mindset to achieve a high level of performance
  • High level of energy and a desire to boost others up.
  • A desire to connect, inspire, and motivate K-8th grade students.
  • Legal right to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
