Texas Sports Academy uses sport as the foundation for teaching life. This is a direct, active role where you'll deliver daily motivational sessions, coach essential life skills through athletic training, and guide high-potential student-athletes with the same discipline that defined your career.

What you will be doing

  • Delivering daily morning sessions that energize and focus student-athletes for the day
  • Conducting 1:1 motivational meetings centered on academic and personal development
  • Guiding life skill workshops through storytelling, reflective exercises, and hands-on coaching
  • Directing afternoon athletic training sessions that cultivate grit, teamwork, and accountability
  • Monitoring student development and maintaining high expectations for mindset and performance

Candidate requirements

  • We're looking for former elite athletes with proven achievement at the highest levels of sport — Olympic athletes, World Champions, professional players in the NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL, or NCAA Division I All-Americans
  • Bachelor's degree in any field
  • Demonstrated experience mentoring and coaching life skills through sport
  • Proven motivational leadership in athletic, academic, or professional environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship
  • Willing to relocate to or reside in Austin, TX
