What if intentional play could drive quantifiable progress across every developmental domain?

Alpha's approach to education diverges sharply from conventional frameworks. Our PreK offering merges play-centered curriculum architecture with live developmental tracking — no prescriptive lesson templates, no procedural compliance boxes to check. You will architect adaptive learning experiences spanning all readiness areas, guide a team of educators to execute them with both accuracy and enthusiasm, and monitor concrete milestone advancement for each child enrolled.

This position is operationally engaged. Approximately one-third of your schedule will be classroom-facing — demonstrating facilitation methods, observing interactions, and conducting alignment reviews. The remainder involves curriculum creation, coaching educators toward specific and trackable outcomes, and delivering families evidence-informed progress reports. The results of your efforts will be visible: four-year-olds reaching developmental markers ahead of schedule, educators elevating their performance metrics consistently, and families turning into champions of the program.

Elevate the educators. Architect the experiences. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Conduct individualized and small-group coaching with PreK educators, demonstrating methods and recognizing quantifiable progress
  • Architect and lead play-centered learning experiences balancing social-emotional learning, early literacy, math foundations, and physical development, setting the standard for the team
  • Examine and align educator documentation on a weekly basis to ensure rubric consistency and clarity, facilitating calibration meetings to maintain milestone visibility
  • Develop family communications and convene team coordination meetings that synchronize efforts and uphold collective standards for campus-wide PreK preparedness outcomes

What you will NOT be doing

  • Executing scripted lesson plans or compliance-focused workflows — you will create responsive, play-centered experiences informed by live data
  • Delivering a predetermined curriculum developed externally — you control quarterly and weekly instructional planning
  • Operating independently without structured reflection — coaching dialogues and alignment reviews are embedded weekly
  • Supervising K-12 learners using software-based instruction — this position centers entirely on early childhood, direct, classroom-embedded work

Key responsibilities

Advance campus-wide PreK preparedness metrics through educator development, program consistency, and engaging, evidence-informed learning environments.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Psychology, or a related discipline; Master's or specialized credentials preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in early years education, early childhood development, or a related area
  • Demonstrated experience facilitating learning for young children ages 3 to 5 in group settings
  • Documented success designing and executing play-based educational frameworks or curricula that support developmental milestone attainment, such as Montessori
  • At least 1 year of experience coaching or supervising a team of educators with clear performance expectations
  • Background preparing written progress communications for families and facilitating team coordination sessions in educational environments
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requirement for visa sponsorship
  • Commitment to working onsite at Alpha Austin campus, with relocation support available if required

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of edtech systems, adaptive monitoring dashboards, or digital observation platforms utilized in early childhood contexts
  • Background with behavior support approaches and co-regulation methods for children ages 3-5
