Description

You understand what separates content that's merely uploaded from content that people actively share. If you've personally grown an audience by shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing your own videos, this role offers a chance to replicate that success—this time by helping establish a school dedicated to teaching teenagers how to become founders.

Founders School is creating an entirely new approach to education for driven teens who aspire to build companies rather than postpone entrepreneurship until they're older. We're looking for someone capable of transforming founder dialogues, student milestones, and entrepreneurial experiences into platform-optimized content that attracts attention without paid promotion. Your performance won't be judged by editorial calendars, brand standards, or vendor coordination. It will be evaluated on a single metric: audience expansion and the number of qualified families seeking enrollment.

This role is fundamentally a creator position, even if the title suggests leadership. You'll personally pinpoint narratives, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit sequences, publish posts, and continuously refine content on YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms as they emerge. AI integration should already be standard in your workflow—whether for research, editing, repurposing, or performance tuning. Each content piece functions as a test. Each test reveals insights about what resonates with ambitious teens and entrepreneurial families. If you've scaled audiences organically, excel in founder-driven settings, and want your output to define a national brand's debut, we're eager to review your portfolio. Submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Independently produce founder-focused content by scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and additional creator platforms.
  • Transform founder discussions, student achievements, live events, and unedited material into engaging stories that ambitious teens and their parents organically choose to watch and distribute.
  • Execute fast-paced tests with hooks, thumbnails, titles, formats, editing approaches, posting frequency, and channel strategies to drive maximum organic reach.
  • Leverage analytics platforms and AI-driven tools to elevate content quality, accelerate production timelines, and enhance performance with each iteration.
  • Establish the creator-driven media operation that fuels qualified admissions demand through genuine storytelling instead of paid campaigns.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing agencies, external production companies, or internal teams that handle content creation on your behalf.
  • Reviewing and approving creative work from a distance rather than personally generating high-impact content.
  • Executing traditional school marketing initiatives, corporate branding projects, or maintaining scheduled posting calendars.
  • Prioritizing superficial engagement numbers or depending on paid media instead of cultivating organic audience expansion.
  • Allocating time to content planning meetings instead of actively producing material.

Key responsibilities

Independently develop Founders School's creator-driven media operation to deliver 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries during the first 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Candidate requirements

  • Verified background in one of these areas:
    • Independently grew an audience from zero to millions as a creator or as an early core member of a creator operation, or
    • Contributed directly within a top-tier founder-driven content system with documented responsibility for content production and audience expansion.
  • A showcase featuring 2–3 content examples you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and released with trackable organic reach.
  • Proven capacity to articulate your specific role in audience development using data points such as subscribers, followers, watch duration, engagement rates, shares, or total views.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video material.
  • Sharp instincts for founder-centric storytelling and platform-optimized content development.
  • Regular application of AI technologies to streamline research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance analysis.
  • Currently based in, or prepared to move to, New York, NY within 60 days.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven ventures.
  • Track record launching a media property or channel from the ground up.
  • Strong familiarity with content themes that engage ambitious teenagers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
  • Proven ability to convert performance data into scalable content frameworks.
