Description

You understand what separates content that simply goes live from content that gets passed around. If you've built your own following by producing videos you shot, edited, packaged, and distributed yourself, this is your chance to replicate that success—this time for a school preparing teenagers to become entrepreneurs.

Founders School is creating an entirely new approach to education for driven teens ready to build companies rather than postpone entrepreneurship until later. We're looking for someone who can transform conversations with founders, pivotal student moments, and entrepreneurial insights into platform-optimized content that captures attention without paid promotion. Your performance won't be judged on content schedules, brand playbooks, or vendor coordination. Instead, success comes down to one metric: audience expansion and inbound interest from qualified families.

This role is fundamentally a creator position with a leadership designation. You'll personally find stories, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit sequences, publish releases, and continuously refine content for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms as they emerge. AI should already be embedded in how you conduct research, perform edits, repurpose material, and enhance performance. Each piece of content functions as a test. Each test reveals insights about what ambitious teenagers and entrepreneurial families choose to consume. If you've grown audiences organically, excel in founder-driven settings, and want to influence the emergence of a national brand, we're ready to review your portfolio. Submit your application today.

What you will be doing

  • Directly produce founder-driven content by scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining videos for YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and additional creator platforms.
  • Transform founder discussions, student experiences, event footage, and unpolished material into narratives that ambitious teenagers and parents organically engage with and distribute.
  • Execute fast-paced experiments involving hooks, thumbnails, titles, formats, editing approaches, posting frequency, and distribution tactics to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Leverage analytics platforms and AI solutions to enhance content quality, accelerate production timelines, and boost performance with each iteration.
  • Establish the creator-driven media infrastructure that delivers qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid channels.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing agencies, production contractors, or teams responsible for creating content on your behalf.
  • Reviewing creative work from a distance rather than directly producing high-impact content yourself.
  • Executing traditional school marketing, corporate branding initiatives, or adhering to rigid social media publishing schedules.
  • Focusing on superficial engagement numbers or depending on paid advertising rather than cultivating organic audience growth.
  • Allocating time to meetings about content production instead of actively creating it.

Key responsibilities

Directly construct Founders School's creator-driven media operation to deliver 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries during the initial 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Candidate requirements

  • Demonstrated experience in one of the following areas:
    • Built an audience from zero to millions personally as a creator or as a founding member of a creator team, or
    • Contributed directly within an elite founder-driven content operation with documented ownership of content production and audience development.
  • A portfolio featuring 2–3 content pieces you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and released with quantifiable organic results.
  • Proven capability to articulate your specific contribution to audience expansion through metrics including subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Advanced hands-on proficiency in scripting, filming, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video material.
  • Sharp intuition for founder narratives and platform-specific content development.
  • Routine integration of AI tools to expedite research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance enhancement.
  • Currently based in New York, NY or prepared to relocate within 60 days.
  • Eligible to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven enterprises.
  • Experience building a media brand or channel from inception.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of what appeals to ambitious teenagers and aspiring young entrepreneurs.
  • Ability to convert analytics insights into scalable content frameworks.
