Lead Cloud Architect   $200,000 USD/year

Description

The SaaS sector is advancing quickly, yet legacy SaaSOps teams remain mired in manual workflows and reactive problem-solving rather than embracing proactive, AI-enabled automation. Organizations are hemorrhaging millions on suboptimal cloud operations, enduring preventable outages, and falling short of the scaling velocity required for ambitious expansion. Trilogy is charting a different course—acquiring no fewer than one SaaS company each month and fully committing to AI transformation to construct the industry's most sophisticated, automated SaaS Ops capability.

Trilogy manages a portfolio of SaaS enterprises, each presenting distinct architecture, clientele, and operational demands. Rather than viewing SaaS Ops as overhead, we position it as strategic differentiation. We are constructing an elite, AI-enhanced SaaS Ops function engineered to maximize availability, refine operations, and optimize cloud expenditure across dozens of platforms. This represents a chance to architect and deliver SaaS Ops strategy at scale, harnessing automation, AI, and exemplary operational frameworks to establish a new benchmark for the industry.

This is not a traditional IT infrastructure or systems management position. This is a technical leadership opportunity for someone who has directly built and owned SaaS Ops within a SaaS organization, not merely participated as a team member. The right candidate is primarily a technical authority, secondarily a leader—an individual who excels at architecting scalable infrastructure, embedding automation, and navigating critical operational trade-offs. You will be accountable for shaping the future of SaaS Ops across a varied portfolio of SaaS companies, guaranteeing frictionless product integrations, and deploying AI to forge an automated, high-efficiency operations platform.

You will collaborate with elite talent across Engineering, Product, and executive leadership to realize this vision. If you hold firm convictions about SaaS Ops execution, relish the complexity of optimizing multi-product ecosystems, and are energized by pioneering AI-powered operations, this opportunity is designed for you. Apply now to claim a transformative career milestone.

What you will be doing

  • Architect and deploy best-in-class SaaS Ops methodologies grounded in deep domain expertise and decisive perspectives on operational excellence
  • Drive critical decisions regarding operational standards, AI tooling, and process architecture to secure reliability, security, and cost efficiency across the entire portfolio
  • Develop and refine a repeatable framework for integrating newly acquired SaaS products into a unified SaaS Ops function with minimal operational disruption
  • Leverage AI-powered platforms to achieve automation, cost reduction, and operational performance gains

What you will NOT be doing

  • Supervising repetitive manual work typical of conventional SaaS Ops; your mandate centers on automation and AI-led innovation
  • Operating within the confines of a single product; you will be navigating complexity across hundreds of products within our SaaS portfolio
  • Accepting existing norms; you will be tasked with challenging and redefining operations through the application of AI capabilities

Key responsibilities

  • Own a streamlined, AI-driven SaaS Ops function that delivers superior reliability, cost optimization, and frictionless operations for an expanding portfolio of acquired SaaS businesses

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and owning SaaS Ops supporting enterprise customers
  • Experience owning SaaS Ops and leading major cloud migrations at an SME with enterprise customers
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to SaaS operations
  • Advanced AWS and DevOps skills (including Docker and Kubernetes)
