What you will be doing

  • Crafting and maintaining an AI-centric financial system tailored for rapidly expanding education ventures
  • Developing impactful Design Decisions to streamline and enhance crucial financial workflows
  • Providing insightful written feedback on Deep Dive and Improvement Plans, honing both AI and human capabilities
  • Engaging in pivotal meetings concerning budgets, growth strategies, vendor negotiations, and compliance matters
  • Guaranteeing seamless operation of financial processes like tuition, audits, and tax management at scale

  • Overseeing a vast team of finance professionals
  • Managing routine monthly close processes or manual transaction approvals
  • Settling for standard ERP workflows
  • Delegating essential tasks—this role thrives on active involvement
  • Operating in a slow-paced, stable environment—expect a dynamic build-and-scale atmosphere

Key responsibilities

Design and manage a streamlined, AI-native financial framework that supports numerous high-growth educational initiatives, maximizing scalability and efficiency.

Candidate requirements

  • Possession of CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or MBA credentials
  • Over a decade of experience in finance leadership positions such as Finance Manager, Controller, CFO, showcasing substantial scope and career advancement
  • Proven track record in a senior finance leadership capacity (SVP, CFO, or equivalent) with comprehensive oversight of key finance operations
  • Expert knowledge of US GAAP and integrated financial statements
  • Extensive experience in managing and enhancing ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP), particularly in complex, multi-entity settings
  • Conducted or led 5+ external audits with a Big 4 firm, as either the auditor or the client
  • Exceptional written and oral English communication skills, with the capability to interact directly with senior executives
  • Residing within UTC-8 to UTC+3 time zones

Nice to have

  • Understanding of U.S. K-12 education systems (private, charter, ESA programs)
  • Experience in developing finance automation or AI-based workflows from the ground up
  • Familiarity with finance operations in multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction environments
