Description

Cash flow is projected, then disappears. In B2B environments, 20–30% of invoices exceed their due dates each quarter, driven by "processing delays," portal complications, and ambiguous disputes that accumulate in aging reports. Finance leaders struggle to reconcile variance while liquidity remains frozen. The standard industry reaction is additional monitoring and follow-up emails—yet Days Sales Outstanding continues to climb, and quarter-end transforms into a cycle of justifications.

Trilogy has chosen a different approach: we execute collections with the discipline of a competitive sport. Each day begins with a data-driven action agenda tied directly to the forecast. We use AI to prioritize accounts by cash value and collection probability, then address underlying issues until funds reach our account. Disputes are not merely "monitored"—they are closed with documentation, customer agreement, and a confirmed payment commitment. The objective is clear: convert forecasted cash into realized cash on the precise date we projected, enabling the entire organization to operate with greater velocity.

In this position, you will design and execute a daily collection strategy with absolute accuracy, eliminate payment friction before it becomes a backlog issue, dismantle disputes using audit-grade documentation, and reduce the aging balance until only genuine exceptions persist. If your natural response is to escalate with precision, identify the true obstacle, obtain customer acknowledgment in writing, and secure a firm commitment date, this role will suit you. If you prefer observing from a dashboard and reacting at month-end, it will not.

You will operate at the core of the cash operation alongside forecasting and revenue operations: they model and flag risk; you eliminate it and deliver the result. Your toolkit includes AI-powered prioritization, sharp customer communication, and a zero-tolerance approach to aging items. If you are prepared to transform quarter-end from a scramble into a smooth progression, we invite you to apply.

What you will be doing

  • Execute a daily cash plan: establish specific collection objectives, deliver without deviation, and investigate every shortfall until the underlying cause is eliminated.
  • Resolve payment delays and disputes rapidly: engage customers directly on remittance, portal, and registration obstacles, obtain written confirmation and a committed payment date, and confirm cash receipt.
  • Monitor and reduce the aging portfolio daily: clear or reassign outdated items with supporting evidence and generate actionable recommendations that lower aged receivables week by week.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Building quarterly forecasts or annual cash generation strategies
  • Administrative work that does not directly influence cash collection.
  • Process assessments or internal meetings without a clear connection to collections or dispute resolution.

Key responsibilities

  • Guarantee the punctual collection of 100% of all invoices forecasted for the quarter, removing obstacles and ensuring cash is received precisely as projected.

Candidate requirements

  • A university degree in a finance-related subject
  • At least 5 years of experience in collections or accounts receivable
  • Demonstrated history resolving customer disputes related to collections
