Campus Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

Are you frustrated by waiting on others to resolve issues you could handle immediately? As a Campus Coordinator at Nova Academy, you'll serve as the operational authority ensuring smooth daily campus function—addressing challenges with efficiency, resourcefulness, and accountability.

Your responsibilities will span from resolving technical device issues to orchestrating seamless events and maintaining campus security. This work is essential to our mission. You'll forge strong connections with students, families, and colleagues who recognize and appreciate your skill and commitment. At Nova Academy, your workday transcends mere activity—it becomes purposeful, varied, and genuinely fulfilling.

Why Nova Academy?

  • Learning from the Best: Partner with seasoned professionals throughout our network, acquiring knowledge and skills that accelerate your professional development.
  • Growth Opportunities: With guidance from the Campus Director and Lead Campus Coordinator, you'll gradually assume expanded responsibilities—from family communications to operational leadership—building your competence and impact.
  • Playbook for Success: Leverage a proven operational framework, becoming proficient in developing, refining, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a fast-growing school network.
  • Training and Mentorship: As your expertise deepens, you'll help develop others by delivering training and guidance to new team members across multiple campuses.

If you're prepared to leave behind micromanagement, excessive bureaucracy, or minimal impact and move into a position where your choices carry weight, we invite you to join us.

What you will be doing

  • Managing daily campus operations—from fire safety protocols to staff onboarding and maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment.
  • Addressing technical challenges directly: diagnosing problems, overseeing device migrations, and acting as the primary technical resource.
  • Preparing polished, professional event spaces and guaranteeing flawless execution.

  • Maintaining campus security by implementing effective protocols, conducting drills, and enforcing safety measures.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to act—this position demands proactive ownership.
  • Operating independently—achievement in this role depends on teamwork and community involvement.
  • Performing monotonous or routine tasks—this position provides diversity and substantive challenges.
