Campus Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

A well-functioning campus feels orderly, inviting, and composed—because someone is orchestrating countless decisions in the background to maintain that experience.

Nova Academy serves students and families who hold their school experience to a high standard. That standard reaches beyond the classroom. It manifests in the quality of family communication, the sense of security students feel, the seamlessness of daily routines, and the speed with which issues are addressed. This position ensures all of these elements function reliably, day after day.

In this capacity, you assume responsibility for the complete non-instructional operation of the campus. You establish trust with families by delivering clear and timely updates. You protect student safety by managing protocols and responding to incidents. You oversee facilities, logistics, and operational workflows so that staff remain concentrated on students. You also ensure that technology enables learning instead of disrupting it.

This is a practical, community-oriented role suited to someone who values variety, accountability, and service. If you find fulfillment in resolving challenges, supporting a learning community, and building an environment where students and educators succeed, this position provides substantial ownership and influence.

What you will be doing

  • Cultivating productive relationships with parents, students, and staff via proactive, bilingual outreach
  • Directing campus safety functions, including entry controls, health event management, emergency drills, record-keeping, and family notifications
  • Supervising day-to-day campus functions including attendance workflows, transportation arrangements, facility maintenance, and office coordination
  • Facilitating onboarding and orientation for incoming staff to promote seamless adoption of campus systems and culture
  • Administering student devices and campus technology systems, acting as the site-level technology liaison and Google Administrator

What you will NOT be doing

  • Delivering classroom instruction or providing academic support
  • Mentoring educators or designing curriculum
  • Functioning in a narrowly scoped or exclusively clerical capacity
  • Working within a slow-paced, highly routine environment
  • Delegating problems rather than shepherding them to completion

Key responsibilities

Guarantee that Nova Academy functions safely, smoothly, and reliably so that students, staff, and families encounter a high-integrity, well-managed campus each day.

Candidate requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (field of study not specified)
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in office coordination, facilities support, site operations, or comparable operational functions
  • Proficiency with fundamental technology activities including device configuration, troubleshooting, and user account management
  • Solid written and spoken communication capabilities
  • Capacity to juggle multiple responsibilities with careful attention to detail
  • Fluency in both spoken Spanish and English for clear, effective communication
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship
  • Availability to work on-site in Austin, TX, or readiness to relocate

Nice to have

  • 3+ years of operational management experience
  • Prior experience serving as a Google Administrator
  • Background in event planning and execution
