Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an on-site position based at our Austin, TX campus.

Are you frustrated by delays when you know you could resolve issues immediately? At Nova Academy, you'll serve as the go-to expert who keeps the campus operating seamlessly, addressing operational obstacles with agility, resourcefulness, and full accountability.

Your responsibilities will span from resolving tech device issues to orchestrating smooth-running events and maintaining campus security—work that is essential to our mission. Your contributions will be recognized: you'll develop meaningful connections with students, families, and colleagues who appreciate your skill and commitment. At Nova Academy, your workday transcends routine—it's purposeful, varied, and genuinely fulfilling.

Why Nova Academy?

  • Learning from the Best: Work alongside seasoned professionals throughout our network, acquiring knowledge and skills that accelerate your professional development.
  • Growth Opportunities: With guidance from the Campus Director and Lead Campus Coordinator, you'll gradually assume expanded responsibilities—from family engagement to operational leadership—building your expertise and influence.
  • Playbook for Success: Leverage a proven operational framework, becoming proficient in developing, refining, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a fast-growing school network.
  • Training and Mentorship: As your experience grows, you'll play a role in developing others by delivering training and guidance to incoming staff across multiple campuses.

If you're prepared to leave behind micromanagement, red tape, and low-impact work and enter a role where your judgment counts, join us.

What you will be doing

  • Taking full ownership of daily campus operations—from fire safety protocols to staff integration and maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment.
  • Addressing technical challenges directly: diagnosing problems, overseeing device transitions, and acting as the primary resource for technology support.
  • Preparing professional, well-organized event spaces and ensuring flawless execution.
  • Cultivating trust among students, families, and colleagues through transparent communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Maintaining campus security by implementing robust protocols, conducting drills, and managing safety systems.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching classes or designing academic programs—your priority is operational performance, not instructional content.
  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to act—this position demands proactive decision-making and ownership.
  • Operating independently—your success depends on teamwork and active community involvement.
  • Handling monotonous or routine-only work—this role provides diversity and substantive problem-solving.

Key responsibilities

Maintain seamless campus operations while fostering trust and providing outstanding service to students, staff, and families.
