Campus Operations Coordinator   $60,000 USD/year

Description

LOCATION NOTE: This is an in-person position based at our Austin, TX campus.

Are you frustrated by waiting for others to resolve issues you could handle immediately? At Nova Academy, you will serve as the operational expert who ensures the campus functions efficiently, addressing challenges with agility, resourcefulness, and accountability.

Your responsibilities will span from resolving technical device issues to orchestrating seamless events and maintaining campus security—work that is essential to our mission. Your contributions will be recognized through the relationships you cultivate with students, parents, and staff who rely on your competence and commitment. At Nova Academy, your workday delivers purpose, variety, and genuine fulfillment.

Why Nova Academy?

  • Learning from the Best: Work alongside seasoned professionals throughout our network, acquiring knowledge and skills that accelerate your professional development.
  • Growth Opportunities: With guidance from the Campus Director and Lead Campus Coordinator, you will progressively assume expanded responsibilities—from parent engagement to operational leadership—building your expertise and authority.
  • Playbook for Success: Utilize a proven operational framework, developing mastery in creating, refining, and implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) within a fast-growing school network.
  • Training and Mentorship: As your role evolves, you will support the development of others by training and mentoring new team members across multiple campuses.

If you are prepared to leave behind micromanagement, bureaucracy, or limited impact and move into a position where your choices have weight, we invite you to join us.

What you will be doing

  • Managing day-to-day campus operations—covering fire safety, staff onboarding, and maintaining an uninterrupted learning environment.
  • Addressing technical challenges directly: diagnosing problems, overseeing device migrations, and acting as the primary contact for technology support.
  • Preparing refined, professional environments for events and guaranteeing flawless execution.
  • Establishing credibility with students, parents, and staff through transparent communication and superior service delivery.
  • Upholding campus safety via robust protocols, drills, and security procedures.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Teaching or curriculum development—your emphasis is on operational performance, not educational content.
  • Following inflexible procedures or waiting for others to act—this position demands proactive responsibility.
  • Operating independently—success depends on teamwork and active community involvement.
  • Being confined to routine or repetitive duties—this role provides diversity and substantive challenges.

Key responsibilities

Maintain smooth campus operations while fostering trust and providing outstanding service to students, staff, and parents.
