AI Product Strategy Lead   $200,000 USD/year

Description

You've launched a software product from the ground up, and you understand that meaningful product work continues long after launch. You're someone who navigates ambiguity with confidence, diving deep into user needs, problem spaces, and domain knowledge until a viable path forward becomes evident. You're not interested in backlog grooming or template-driven specifications. You want responsibility for an outcome that matters, with the autonomy to chase it through speed, insight, and precision.

At Trilogy, we've redefined the approach. You're not here to "steward the roadmap". You're here to deliver a tangible result: a measurable business outcome tied to real-world product usage. You receive a single, well-defined goal—something that must occur when users engage with the product—and your mission is to achieve it. You'll develop rich domain knowledge using AI as a collaborator and user feedback as fuel, structure that knowledge so your team and AI systems can leverage it, and guide the product through rapid, evidence-based cycles until you reach the target.

You'll join a team that rejects theater and decorative process artifacts. You'll be accountable for results and choices grounded in user data, tight iteration loops, and rigorous insight. If you're weary of the PM performance and ready to reshape the discipline itself, we encourage you to apply. We're creating the product management function as it should have existed from the start.

What you will be doing

  • Develop BrainLifts: An organized, continuously refined repository of expert knowledge that enhances AI capabilities, informs decisions, and demonstrates mastery of the domain.
  • Execute Product Iterations: Compact, evidence-driven product improvements deployed on a weekly cadence to propel the product toward a defined outcome.
  • Cultivate Domain Expertise: Gain comprehensive, structured knowledge of a particular domain, enabling the team to make more informed decisions, produce more precise outputs, and engage with credibility.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Investing an entire month in a single feature build; our delivery model targets weekly feature releases
  • Authoring exhaustive PRDs, curating backlogs, or specifying every interface detail or edge condition
  • Designing technical implementations or software system architectures

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a product leadership capacity within a product company, where you directly influenced a complete software product's vision, determined its roadmap, and refined it using usage data or customer input (i.e., not limited to a feature or component within a larger offering, and excluding internal tools, outsourced projects, or bespoke development for a single client)
  • Some experience managing products deployed in large enterprise environments, giving you insight into how major organizations evaluate, procure, and implement software differently than consumers or SMBs.
  • Technical foundation sufficient for engaging in discussions about data models and system design considerations. Supported by either a formal Computer Science degree or at least 1 year of hands-on development/coding experience.
  • Enthusiasm for integrating AI into your daily workflows (e.g., research, analysis, synthesis, or strategy).
