AI Product Strategy Lead   $200,000 USD/year

Description

You've launched a software product from the ground up, and you understand that meaningful product work extends well beyond the initial release. You're someone who navigates ambiguity with confidence, diving into the user experience, the underlying problem, and the domain itself until a coherent direction becomes evident. Managing backlogs or completing specifications isn't what drives you. You seek ownership over an objective that truly matters, with the freedom to pursue it using speed, clarity, and strategic focus.

At Trilogy, we're redefining the approach. Your role isn't to "own the roadmap." Your mission is to deliver a specific, measurable business result. You receive one well-defined goal—an outcome that should materialize through user interaction with the product—and you're accountable for achieving it. You'll develop comprehensive domain knowledge by leveraging AI as a collaborative partner and integrating user feedback, document those insights so your team and AI systems can execute on them, and guide the product through rapid, evidence-driven cycles until the target is reached.

You'll be part of a team that values substance over ceremony and real results over polished process documentation. Your purpose is to create impact and make choices informed by user data, rapid feedback mechanisms, and incisive understanding. If you're ready to move beyond conventional PM rituals and genuinely transform the discipline, we encourage you to apply. We're constructing the future of what product management was always meant to be.

What you will be doing

  • Develop BrainLifts: Create a structured, continuously refined repository of expert knowledge that enhances AI capabilities, informs decisions, and demonstrates your mastery of the domain.
  • Execute Product Iterations: Deliver focused, data-informed product improvements on a weekly cadence to guide the product toward a defined, measurable outcome.
  • Cultivate Domain Expertise: Gain in-depth, organized knowledge of a particular domain to enable superior decision-making, produce more customized outputs, and engage with credibility.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Devoting an entire month to a single new feature; our approach is to release new capabilities weekly
  • Producing extensive PRDs, maintaining backlogs, or specifying every interface detail or exception scenario
  • Constructing technical implementations or designing software architecture

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a product leadership position within a product company, where you directly influenced a complete software product's vision, established the roadmap, and refined it using usage data or customer feedback (specifically, not merely a feature or component within a larger product, and excluding internal development, outsourcing projects, or custom work for a single client)
  • Some background in product management for software deployed by large enterprises, enabling you to grasp how large organizations evaluate, procure, and implement software, in contrast to consumers or small-to-medium businesses.
  • Technical foundation sufficient for engaging in conversations about data models and system design considerations. Supported by either formal Computer Science education or at least 1 year of hands-on coding/development experience.
  • Eagerness to integrate AI into your everyday work (for example, in research, analysis, synthesis, or strategic planning).
