Description

Are you eager to transform visionary concepts into actionable strategies that lead to tangible results? If so, we have a unique opportunity for you.

This role is not about following a predefined roadmap. It's for a visionary who thrives on writing, making clear decisions, and steering direction through well-crafted documents. Your mission is to define what should exist and why, before any coding begins. Immerse yourself in a founder's mindset to develop frameworks, options, and recommendations that shape the evolution of an AI-native product.

Trilogy is the driving force behind Ephor.ai — a revolutionary platform that redefines learning through intelligent agents, LLM orchestration, and real-time knowledge synthesis. This isn't just another AI enhancement. It's a strategy-first software initiative at the intersection of cutting-edge AI and real-world application. Collaborate with executives to frame decisions, refine product direction, and establish principles for autonomous execution.

Initiate action independently, and finish with impactful documents that drive action, avoiding meetings that cause confusion.

If you're ready to move beyond process-driven PM roles and write your way into strategic influence, this is the opportunity you've been seeking.

What you will be doing

  • Crafting strategic product briefs that translate founder visions into multiple feasible pathways, outlining tradeoffs, implications, and a clear route forward.
  • Creating decision narratives that demystify complex product decisions, contextualize their importance, and facilitate execution without further meetings.
  • Developing enduring frameworks ("BrainLifts") that document evolving product principles, enhance AI/human collaboration, and scale institutional knowledge.
  • Identifying bold pivots or reframes based on user feedback, internal challenges, and market dynamics, supported by structured reasoning.
  • Collaborating with executives to scrutinize assumptions, challenge norms, and advance product thinking through trusted written collaboration.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing sprint boards, planning MVPs, or defining success with OKRs — this is not an execution-focused role.
  • Relying on weekly meetings or direct founder access to resolve issues — your writing will be your influence.
  • Implementing superficial 'AI features' — your expertise should shape the product, not just enhance its speed.
  • Reducing strategy to mere documentation — your work embodies the thinking, not just the record.
  • Simply delivering what's requested — you'll often propose superior solutions.

Key responsibilities

Utilize strategic writing to transform ambiguity into product clarity — shaping direction, influencing decisions, and enabling AI-native execution without cumbersome processes.

Candidate requirements

  • 6+ years in product strategy, management, or executive roles where you owned the 'what and why,' not just the 'how and when.'
  • 2+ years collaborating directly with a founder or executive in high-trust, unstructured environments to translate vision into actionable product strategy.
  • Strong AI fluency — experience with LLMs or applying AI to enhance product thinking, familiar with MCP, agentic workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
  • 2–3 examples of strategic writing demonstrating structured thinking, original framing, and clear articulation of tradeoffs (e.g., briefs, narratives, reframes).
  • A track record of thriving in low-structure settings, creating clarity from chaos without waiting for consensus or permission.
  • Ability to influence through documents, not access — you’ve built trust through clarity, not control.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication — this is a document-driven, not meeting-driven, role.
  • Availability for 2–3 hours of daily overlap with U.S. business hours.
