Description

Ready to transform visionary ideas into strategic reality without getting lost in ticket management?

This isn't about roadmaps—it's about intellectual partnership. We're seeking a strategic architect who thinks in frameworks, communicates through compelling documents, and shapes product direction before implementation begins. Your superpower? Extracting clarity from complexity and translating founder insights into actionable strategy that drives innovation forward.

At Trilogy's Ephor.ai, we're revolutionizing learning through AI-native systems—intelligent agents, LLM orchestration, and dynamic knowledge synthesis. This isn't incremental innovation; it's foundational transformation. You'll operate at the intersection of cutting-edge AI capabilities and practical application, collaborating with leadership to crystallize vision into executable strategy.

Success here doesn't come from waiting for instructions—it comes from proactive thinking and decisive documentation that eliminates confusion and catalyzes action.

If you're craving escape from process-heavy product management and want your strategic thinking to directly shape revolutionary products, this role represents your opportunity to make that leap.

What you will be doing

  • Crafting comprehensive strategic briefs that transform executive vision into evaluated pathways, complete with analysis of tradeoffs and clear recommendations
  • Creating decision narratives that distill complex product decisions into actionable guidance, eliminating the need for excessive meetings
  • Establishing enduring "BrainLifts" frameworks that capture evolving product principles and enhance institutional knowledge transfer
  • Identifying potential strategic pivots based on market intelligence, user feedback, and internal capabilities—supported by rigorous analysis
  • Engaging with executive leadership in high-trust written dialogues that refine product vision and challenge conventional thinking

What you will NOT be doing

  • Managing tactical execution processes like sprint planning or OKR tracking—your focus remains strategic
  • Depending on constant access to leadership for direction—your written work is your primary influence mechanism
  • Implementing superficial AI enhancements—your expertise must fundamentally shape product architecture
  • Converting strategy into passive documentation—your deliverables represent active thinking, not administrative artifacts
  • Simply executing requests—your role demands proposing superior alternatives when appropriate

Key responsibilities

Transform ambiguity into actionable product strategy through exceptional strategic writing—defining direction, shaping critical decisions, and enabling AI-native execution without bureaucratic overhead or excessive process management.

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 6 years experience in product strategy or leadership roles with demonstrated ownership of strategic direction rather than just implementation details
  • At least 2 years collaborating directly with founders or C-suite executives in dynamic environments, translating evolving vision into concrete product strategy
  • Demonstrated AI expertise—practical experience building with large language models, understanding of multi-agent systems, and familiarity with modern AI orchestration approaches
  • Portfolio of 2-3 strategic documents showcasing analytical thinking, innovative framing, and clear articulation of complex tradeoffs
  • Proven success operating in ambiguous environments and creating structure without extensive guidance
  • Track record of building influence through documentation quality rather than organizational position
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills essential for a document-centric collaborative approach
  • Availability to overlap 2-3 hours daily with U.S. business hours
