Senior Director Product Strategy   $400,000 USD/year

Description

You're a product executive who executes. You can deconstruct a defined product vision, segment it into minimal high-value increments, and deliver production-ready, enterprise-grade AI capabilities quickly without devolving into roadmap performance art. You've survived the "AI fixes all" hype cycle, understand where it fails, and know how to build effectively regardless. If you thrive when controlling outcomes from start to finish—making calls, prototyping, hardening, launching, and observing actual customer usage—this role deserves your attention.

The broader software landscape treats AI like set dressing: layer on a chatbot, unveil a "copilot," brand it innovation, and pray buyers skip the tough questions. Our approach inverts this. We construct AI-native capabilities that justify their existence through quantifiable enterprise impact, executing at speeds that make conventional planning rituals appear masochistic. We win by compressing Sell → Design → Build cycles, enforcing brutal scope discipline within a set direction, and achieving production deployments that satisfy enterprise requirements without extended coordination drag.

This position centers on accelerated delivery of enterprise-caliber, AI-native product capabilities directly to customers. It means hands-on prototyping with contemporary AI tooling to confirm viability before engineering solidifies implementation. It means controlling delivery from vision refinement through production launch, making definitive tradeoffs, and shipping within established constraints. It is not "sprinkling AI features" absent clear value justification. It is not an inbound feature queue, a requirements document mill, or a presentation-focused trajectory. It is not abstract vision rhetoric, model performance metrics divorced from user context, or wishful thinking that presumes flawless AI operation.

You'll work alongside engineering as a player-coach: partially builder, partially decision authority, entirely not a coordinator. You'll convert established vision into actionable scope, prototype rapidly to eliminate uncertainty, and push releases that customers can genuinely deploy in authentic enterprise settings. If you've launched original enterprise software, leveraged AI as an execution substrate, and remain composed when hype meets production reality, you'll receive autonomy to advance quickly and accountability to ensure durability. If that registers as liberation rather than burden, submit your application.

What you will be doing

  • Shipped Product Capabilities: Original or substantially improved product features deployed to production and available to enterprise customers
  • AI-Driven Prototypes: Functional prototypes built with AI as the principal execution substrate to confirm functionality prior to production hardening
  • Enterprise-Grade Production Deployments: Completely hardened, secure, dependable deployments satisfying enterprise criteria for quality, usability, and security

What you will NOT be doing

  • Portfolio or roadmap-focused product leadership
  • Dependence on customer discovery as the main directional input
  • Process-intensive or governance-centered product positions
  • Positioning AI as merely an assistant instead of a fundamental execution layer

Key responsibilities

  • Accelerated delivery of enterprise-caliber, AI-native product capabilities directly into customer hands

Candidate requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience delivering new products or significant capabilities end-to-end
  • Experience controlling product delivery from vision refinement through production deployment
  • Experience prototyping, testing, and iterating products or features with modern AI tooling
