Description

You're an engineer who refuses to accept poor-quality code, sluggish deployment cycles, or obsolete development methodologies. You don't simply write software—you engineer AI-powered systems that render conventional engineering practices slow and wasteful. If this describes you, continue reading.

The majority of software teams continue coding the traditional way—manual debugging sessions, experimental deployment approaches, and features that scarcely utilize AI beyond occasional Copilot prompts. Trilogy operates differently. AI permeates every aspect of our development workflow: feature conceptualization, bug identification, defect remediation, and performance enhancement. This isn't about experimenting with AI utilities; this is about comprehensively embedding AI into the software development lifecycle to remove inefficiencies, accelerate delivery, and engineer with accuracy.

In this position, you will deconstruct existing B2B products, reconstruct them as cloud-native solutions, and enhance them with AI at every stage. You'll be engineering and deploying AI-enhanced features, applying advanced retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) for automated defect identification, and guaranteeing seamless releases—zero downtime, zero interruptions, zero compromises. If you seek a position where you invest weeks discussing architectural choices rather than delivering, this isn't it.

If you're prepared to expand the frontiers of AI-enhanced software engineering and advance your professional trajectory, apply now. If you prefer maintaining your current skill set, manually writing test cases, or collaborating in teams that resist automation, this role isn't for you.

What you will be doing

  • Utilizing analysis tools and RAG vector stores to detect, diagnose, and resolve product defects and eliminate bugs.
  • Applying AI development agents to architect, engineer, and deploy innovative features for cloud-native solutions.
  • Guiding AI agents and serving as the quality checkpoint for AI-generated outputs; AI results are not flawless and demand your coding proficiency.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Repetitive Tasks: We minimize burdensome infrastructure work so you can concentrate on building innovative solutions.
  • Meeting Overload: We prioritize your development expertise over conference room attendance. Expect more engineering, less discussion.

Key responsibilities

  • Deploy AI-powered features to optimize workflows and equip service providers with cutting-edge tools.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 4 years of professional experience in commercial software development, focusing on production code for server-side web applications
  • At least 1 year of experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native development (any cloud vendor)
  • Experience using GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor, v0.dev); we are not looking for traditional ML engineers without LLM experience
  • Experience writing production-level code in at least two general-purpose coding languages, such as Typescript, Javascript, Python, or C#
  • Experience developing APIs
  • Experience using SQL databases
