Description

Software development as an industry is undergoing rapid transformation, propelled by the need to accelerate delivery cycles, minimize human-introduced defects, and strengthen code integrity. These improvements matter because they translate directly into reduced time-to-market and improved customer outcomes. Historically, software deployment timelines have been constrained by conventional development methods, with roughly 30% of projects running over schedule due to inefficiencies and preventable errors.

IgniteTech is driving this shift forward by embedding advanced GenAI capabilities into the fabric of software architecture and engineering. Rather than focusing on incremental gains, this position provides the rare opportunity to spearhead transformative AI-powered programs. You will occupy a front-line position where AI is applied not merely to optimize, but to fundamentally reimagine how software is conceived, built, and deployed—delivering substantial gains in efficiency and strategic advantage.

This position has been crafted for individuals motivated to operate at the frontier of technology and innovation. It is not a task-execution or operational support role; it is a strategic function centered on research and development, prototyping, and the deployment of AI in constructing next-generation software products. The ideal candidate is not only skilled in AI and software architecture, but also possesses a forward-thinking mindset toward harnessing technology for enterprise innovation.

In this capacity, you will guide our engineering team in defining the architectural blueprints and strategies that embed AI into our software ecosystem. Your contributions will be central to our organizational objectives, and your efforts will have a direct bearing on the productivity and caliber of what we deliver. We encourage you to apply if you are committed to advancing the limits of what technology can achieve and are prepared to drive measurable change within the software sector.

What you will be doing

  • Architect the foundational structures for AI-powered systems that automate sophisticated dimensions of software engineering, including architecture synthesis, dependency orchestration, and intelligent predictive coding.
  • Engage deeply with emerging trends in AI and software engineering through active participation in R&D programs, attendance at industry conferences, and collaboration with academic and professional networks. As new AI technologies emerge, we expect to be among the earliest adopters and evaluators.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Routine Code Maintenance: Performing regular updates or debugging of existing codebases to address minor defects or incremental functionality enhancements.
  • Standard Software Development: Executing basic coding or development assignments that involve building straightforward features or functionalities without AI integration.

Key responsibilities

  • Apply your engineering knowledge to achieve measurable gains in development velocity, reduction of human-introduced errors, and elevation of code quality, thereby accelerating software product time-to-market and improving customer satisfaction.

Candidate requirements

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-stack software developer (proficiency in both front-end and back-end coding is required)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with GenAI code assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev)
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering Generative AI products/projects/solutions/tools
  • Demonstrated experience applying different LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) to address business challenges
  • A clear understanding of when and why to select particular LLM models for specific use cases
  • Verifiable knowledge and practical application of the Model Context Protocol (MCP)
