AI Software Engineer   $60,000 USD/year

Description

The software development sector faces persistent challenges with project delays and budget overruns, with approximately one-third of initiatives failing to adhere to their planned schedules because of legacy methodologies. Within this landscape, conventional programming approaches fall short of addressing the accelerating need for faster, more dependable, and superior-quality software products.

IgniteTech distinguishes itself through the implementation of advanced Generative AI capabilities that transform the core principles of software engineering. This position extends well beyond typical AI use cases centered on incremental enhancements; it involves spearheading large-scale, strategic initiatives that harness AI to dramatically elevate both productivity and innovation throughout the organization. Upon joining, you will design and implement AI-powered platforms that compress development cycles, minimize defects, and produce solutions with exceptional scalability, establishing new benchmarks for the industry.

This opportunity is ideal for you if you have:

  • Developed code components to embed state-of-the-art LLMs into software systems (e.g., intelligent customer service bots, API connectivity)
  • Augmented forecasting capabilities or tailored recommendation engines within existing platforms through automated AI methods
  • Leveraged AI to swiftly resolve recurring defect corrections and enhancement requests (e.g., instant multilingual translation or dynamic content customization)

This position is reserved for seasoned professionals who have delivered meaningful Generative AI implementations in production environments. If you have not yet accomplished work of this caliber, this role is not appropriate for you.

What you will be doing

  • Developing Novel AI Products and Capabilities: Refine LLMs to construct entirely new AI-enabled products and discrete components that integrate smoothly into current solutions or serve as the core of completely new offerings, exemplified by our team's recent work on www.eloquens.ai
  • Streamlining Internal Operations: Deploy sophisticated AI methodologies to automate internal functions and operational workflows

Key responsibilities

  • Drive accelerated product delivery and elevated customer satisfaction through ongoing AI-powered enhancements

Candidate requirements

  • AI-First Mindset (if your default approach is to write code initially and subsequently use AI tools to validate or refine your work, rather than the reverse, please do not apply)
  • A minimum of 1 year of full-stack development experience (proficiency in both front-end and back-end programming is mandatory)
  • Extensive hands-on experience with GenAI coding assistants (e.g., Github Copilot, Cursor.sh, v0.dev)
  • Demonstrated track record of deploying Generative AI solutions that produced significant measurable outcomes
  • Proven experience applying various LLMs (e.g., GPT, Claude, Mistral) to address operational challenges
  • A clear grasp of when and why to select particular LLM architectures for distinct use cases
