This position is for the engineer who prefers designing systems and validating correctness over processing tickets. You will allocate approximately 10–20% to research and technical exploration, understanding existing behavior, constraints, and stakeholder objectives; 40–50% translating that knowledge into exact, test-driven, agent-compatible specifications and architectural choices; and 40–50% coordinating and overseeing implementation. You own what deploys: no silent breakage, no vague specs, no deflecting accountability to the agent.
You will join a team that regards specification as a deliverable, review as an engineering practice, and delivery as the sole metric that matters.
