AI Product Lead   $200,000 USD/year

Description

You've shipped a software product from concept to market, and you understand that meaningful product work continues well beyond launch. You're someone who navigates ambiguity without guidance, diving deep into the user, the challenge, and the domain until clarity surfaces. You're not interested in backlog maintenance or specification templates. You want accountability for an outcome that counts and the autonomy to chase it with velocity, precision, and intention.

At Trilogy, we're inverting the traditional approach. You're not here to "steward the roadmap". You're here to deliver one thing: a tangible, quantifiable business result. You receive a single, well-defined goal—something that must occur when users engage with the product—and your mission is to deliver it. You'll develop rich domain understanding by leveraging AI as a collaborator and learning from user signals, document those insights so teammates and AI can execute on them, and guide the product through rapid, evidence-driven cycles until the goal is realized.

You'll join a team that dismisses ceremony and polished process artifacts. You'll be there to create impact and make choices grounded in user evidence, tight feedback cycles, and incisive understanding. If you're tired of performing the PM ritual and ready to redefine it, we invite your application. We're constructing what product leadership was always meant to be.

What you will be doing

  • Develop BrainLifts: A dynamic, curated repository of specialist knowledge that refines AI capabilities, informs choices, and demonstrates your mastery of the domain.
  • Execute Product Iterations: Incremental, metric-informed product improvements delivered each week to advance the product toward a defined outcome.
  • Cultivate Domain Expertise: Develop comprehensive, organized knowledge of a particular domain to enable the team to render better decisions, produce more customized results, and engage with credibility.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Investing an entire month in a single new feature; our cadence targets weekly feature releases
  • Drafting extensive PRDs, administering backlogs, or specifying every interface detail or corner case
  • Constructing technical implementations or software infrastructure

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a product leadership role in a product company, where you personally shaped an entire software product's vision, defined the roadmap, and improved it based on usage metrics or customer feedback (i.e., not just a feature or a module in a bigger product, and not internal development or outsourcing work or custom development done for a single customer)
  • Some experience in product management of software used by large enterprises, so you can understand the particularities of how large enterprises choose, buy, and adopt software, compared to consumers or even SMBs.
  • Technical background that enables discussing data models and system design trade-offs. Backed up by either formal education in Computer Science, or practical hands-on experience as a developer/coder of at least 1 year.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI in your daily work (e.g., research, analysis, synthesis, or strategy).
