What you will be doing
- Craft compelling strategic narratives that transform visionary concepts into executable pathways, complete with detailed analysis of opportunities and challenges
- Author decisive product documents that eliminate ambiguity and enable autonomous team execution
- Create enduring strategic frameworks ("BrainLifts") that capture and evolve our product philosophy while optimizing AI-human synergy
- Identify and articulate strategic pivots backed by comprehensive analysis and clear reasoning
- Engage in high-level strategic discourse with leadership through sophisticated written communication
What you will NOT be doing
- Getting lost in the weeds of traditional product management - no backlog grooming or sprint planning here
- Waiting for executive face-time to move initiatives forward - your written work is your power
- Creating superficial AI integrations - we need deep strategic thinking about AI's role in our product
- Simply documenting decisions - you'll be actively shaping them through strategic analysis
- Following prescribed paths - we need someone who can chart better courses
Key responsibilities
Candidate requirements
- Proven track record with 6+ years steering product strategy or executive-level decision-making, focusing on strategic direction rather than tactical execution
- Demonstrated success (2+ years) collaborating closely with senior leadership to transform abstract vision into concrete product strategy
- Deep practical AI expertise, including hands-on experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, and orchestration frameworks
- Portfolio of 2-3 strategic documents showcasing your ability to frame complex issues and analyze tradeoffs
- Proven ability to create order from chaos in autonomous environments
- Track record of building influence through clear documentation and strategic thinking
- Outstanding written communication skills - your documents should speak louder than meetings
- Ability to align with U.S. business hours for 2-3 hours daily
