As our Entrepreneur in Residence, you'll be the bridge between visionary thinking and executable strategy. You'll work directly with our leadership team to shape how AI transforms education, turning complex ideas into clear, actionable frameworks.

What you will be doing
- Craft compelling strategic narratives that transform abstract visions into concrete product directions, complete with detailed analysis of opportunities and risks
- Author decisive product strategy documents that eliminate the need for endless meetings and enable autonomous execution
- Create and maintain "BrainLifts" – our proprietary framework for documenting product principles and AI/human collaboration patterns
- Identify and articulate strategic pivots by synthesizing market insights, user feedback, and technological capabilities
- Engage in high-level strategic discussions through written discourse, challenging assumptions and evolving product strategy
What you will NOT be doing
- Getting bogged down in traditional PM tasks like backlog grooming or OKR tracking
- Playing calendar tetris for alignment meetings – your written work drives decisions
- Creating superficial AI integrations or feature additions
- Producing documentation for documentation's sake – every document should drive strategic thinking
- Simply executing orders – we need someone who can challenge and improve upon initial directions
Key responsibilities
Candidate requirements
- Proven track record with 6+ years steering product strategy or executive-level decision-making, focusing on strategic direction rather than tactical execution
- Demonstrated success (2+ years) collaborating directly with founders/executives to transform high-level vision into concrete product strategy
- Deep practical AI expertise, including hands-on experience with LLMs, agent-based systems, and modern AI orchestration frameworks
- Portfolio of 2-3 strategic documents showcasing your ability to frame complex problems and articulate strategic choices
- Proven ability to create order from chaos in ambiguous environments
- Track record of driving change through written communication rather than positional authority
- Superior communication skills with an emphasis on written articulation
- Ability to align with U.S. business hours for 2-3 hours daily
