The most meaningful support for a student who achieves 99% is refusing to accept it as 100%. Not out of indifference — but because you know they can reach it, and accepting less is where you actually fail them. If this reasoning resonates, continue reading. If it feels too demanding, this position will not suit you.

Students at Alpha don't passively absorb lectures. They advance through adaptive applications at double the speed of conventional classrooms while simultaneously developing practical life competencies. Your role ensures three core commitments are met for every student in your group: they develop a love for learning, they progress at 2x speed, and they acquire capabilities no traditional curriculum provides. You will also develop the Guides who uphold these commitments throughout your campus.

Data informs every choice, and every interaction is in-person. You divide your attention between your direct student cohort and the Guides under your leadership — holding both to identical standards: documented advancement, without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you skip the paperwork; you observe, discuss, and correct it before the day ends.

You will witness reserved students deliver confident presentations to adults. You will see learners who once "despised school" request extended sessions. And you will understand that the high standard you maintained is precisely what enabled their growth, because maintaining excellence demonstrates your belief in their capacity to achieve it.

You may be establishing a new campus from the ground up, setting the foundational culture that will shape the entire school. As operations mature, your emphasis transitions from hands-on execution to leadership development, building the team that expands Alpha's approach across your territory.

If this opportunity appeals to you, submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour interactive life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) sessions with K-8 students covering topics such as public speaking and concentration, adhering to Alpha's established framework
  • Conducting daily motivational check-ins that ensure 100% of students reach their weekly application milestones using developmentally appropriate tools like school currency systems and leaderboards
  • Developing Guides through direct observation, precise feedback, and active mentorship so they execute sessions with equivalent energy and accuracy
  • Analyzing Coachbot data and student records to pinpoint individuals requiring support, then delivering that intervention directly
  • Personally mentoring your assigned student cohort, demonstrating the coaching and engagement techniques you require from all Guides

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans or developing new curriculum. Students advance via adaptive apps; your responsibility is making the people supporting them exceptional.
  • Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You operate as 80% motivator, 20% content expert; if you prefer standing at a whiteboard, this role is not the right fit.
  • Compromising standards due to external pressure from parents or school leadership. When a student achieves 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you will be fully supported in maintaining that expectation.
  • Working from an office processing administrative documents. The majority of your time is spent directly engaging with students and Guides.
  • Waiting extended periods for performance evaluation. Data is accessible in real-time through Coachbot and adjustments are made immediately.

Key responsibilities

Fulfill Alpha's 3 Promises for your student cohort and the Guides under your leadership: every child loves school, accelerates learning at 2x speed, and develops authentic life skills.
