The greatest support you can offer a student who achieves 99% is to refuse calling it 100%. Not from indifference — but from the conviction that they're capable of reaching it, and that lowering standards is the true disservice. If this reasoning resonates with you, continue reading. If it strikes you as overly strict, this position will likely be a poor fit.

Students at Alpha don't attend traditional lectures. They advance through adaptive applications at double the speed of conventional classrooms while simultaneously developing practical life competencies. Your responsibility is ensuring three core promises are fulfilled for every student in your cohort: genuine enthusiasm for school, accelerated learning at 2x the standard rate, and acquisition of skills beyond any textbook. You will also mentor the Guides who uphold these same commitments throughout your campus.

Data informs every choice, and all work happens in person. Your time divides between your personal student cohort and the Guides under your leadership — with identical expectations for both: documented progress without compromise. When a Guide's session underperforms, you don't generate documentation; you observe directly, conduct a debrief, and resolve the issue that same afternoon.

You'll witness reserved children presenting with confidence to adults. You'll observe students who once "despised school" requesting to remain after hours. And you'll understand that the standard you maintained is precisely what enabled their transformation, because upholding high expectations demonstrates your belief in their capacity to meet them.

You may be establishing a completely new campus from the ground up and setting the cultural foundation that will shape the institution. As your campus evolves, your role transitions from operational founder to coaching executive, cultivating the team that expands Alpha's framework across your territory.

If this opportunity appeals to you, submit your application now.

What you will be doing

  • Facilitating one-hour live workshops focused on life skills and social-emotional learning (SEL) with K-8 students, covering areas such as public speaking and concentration, using Alpha's structured curriculum framework
  • Conducting daily motivational sessions designed to ensure 100% of students reach their weekly app-based goals through age-appropriate incentive systems including school currency and performance leaderboards
  • Developing Guides via direct observation, specific feedback, and practical training to ensure they execute workshops with equivalent energy and exactness
  • Analyzing Coachbot metrics and individual student data to pinpoint students requiring intervention, followed by direct personal engagement
  • Personally mentoring your designated cohort of students, demonstrating the coaching and motivational techniques you require from all Guides

What you will NOT be doing

  • Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum materials. Students progress through adaptive apps; your mission is elevating the people who support them.
  • Delivering traditional classroom lectures. You're 80% performer, 20% content expert; if you prefer standing at a whiteboard, this role isn't suitable.
  • Compromising standards due to parental or administrative pressure. When a student achieves 99%, the response is "not yet" — and you'll receive full institutional support to maintain that standard.
  • Spending time in an office processing administrative documents. The majority of your workday involves direct interaction with students and Guides.
  • Waiting extended periods for performance feedback. Data is available in real-time through Coachbot and adjustments occur immediately.

Key responsibilities

Execute Alpha's 3 Promises for both your student cohort and the Guides under your mentorship: every child demonstrates genuine love for school, achieves learning velocity at 2x standard pace, and develops authentic life skills.

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or related discipline (Master's degree preferred; traditional teaching certifications are not sought)
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in education, learning and development, coaching, or comparable field
  • Demonstrated experience creating and executing educational programs, curricula, or training initiatives
  • Proven history of managing a team of 5 or more individuals, including responsibility for hiring and performance-based termination decisions
