Ever feel like job descriptions are just a list of impossible demands?

The world wants you to believe that hiring is about degrees, job titles, and how well you can talk your way through an interview.

But the opposite is true.

As a job seeker, your best shot at landing an amazing role isn’t about ticking off random boxes - it’s about proving what you can actually do. And the best way to do that is skills-based hiring.

🚧 Traditional hiring = outdated gatekeeping.

It forces you to rely on past experiences instead of your real potential. But skills-based hiring changes that - giving you the chance to PROVE your abilities directly, no matter where you’ve been.

No one knows this better than Heather Lother, VP of Talent & People Ops at Crossover. She was an elementary school teacher before she found us – and realized it was a better path.
