Hey, Happy New Year!
It’s the 2023 year in review and what a rollercoaster year it’s been.
So much dizzying change has happened that December asked January for a motion sickness pill! Still, we kept climbing higher and reached the top.
🎇 Last year this time I made a big promise to you.🎇
Do you remember it?
I promised that I would find more news, stories and expert insights from outside of the US.
Most of you don’t live there, and I was dead set on expanding that field of view.
After all, who benefits more from working remotely than someone across the world who earns Silicon Valley dollars!
These were the rich threads in the tapestry that were missing. It’s been my mission to find these threads and weave them into the story of remote work.
To actively build the largest remote work community in the world. That represents the remote workers from every corner of it.
And I’m making it happen. (With your help of course!)
· Our episodes are reaching people everywhere – from India to Romania!
· I went from filming at home in 2022 to filming in 25 countries in 2023
· And now Out of Office has over 20 million viewers!
Concrete proof that real news, real stories and real experts don’t just exist in the US.
I’ve always believed that there should be no barriers to leading an extraordinary life for remote workers fearless enough to seize it.
By telling their stories, we’re showing companies in the US how valuable it is to create distributed teams abroad – from the life-changing impact of fair pay, to the incredible depth of expertise and perspective that can be found in different places.
Thank you for your support in 2023, it’s invaluable to us. It’s making a difference.
