Iâm fresh from my travels and glad to have you with me.
Lately Iâve been thinking - what does it mean to be a remote worker? People like us are often put in little boxes. Stereotypes are everywhere!
These one-dimensional perspectives can be confusing at best, and harmful at worst. And theyâre completely devoid of the diversity that makes remote work such a force in the world today.
Iâm back from meeting Latin American remote workers, and I realized something big.
As long as the world typecasts remote workers as a negative thing, theyâll never fully open up to the positive change we bring. We have a leading role to play!
This limited understanding of the unique experiences and contributions of extraordinary people has got to go.
We are the humans of remote work, and we will not go quietly back to the office!
