Role Description

Do you long for a job where you could spend part of your week laser-focused on delivering product features and the rest on coaching team members?

At Crossover, we believe the top performer on the team should give first-line technical coaching. Managers in our partner organizations are active contributors to the team’s roadmap instead of simple task schedulers. With deep knowledge of the code base and product architecture, our managers provide detailed, insightful, and actionable feedback to the development team.

If guiding the team with your software development insights to improve the output quality excites you, now is your time to fast-track your career into management without sacrificing your technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

  • Own a highly efficient, AI-powered SaaS Ops function that ensures exceptional reliability, cost optimization, and seamless operations for a growing portfolio of acquired SaaS businesses

Description

The SaaS industry is evolving rapidly, and traditional SaaSOps teams are struggling to keep pace, relying on manual processes and reactive troubleshooting instead of proactive, AI-driven automation. Companies are wasting millions on inefficient cloud operations, suffering from avoidable downtime, and failing to scale fast enough to support aggressive growth. Trilogy is doing the opposite—acquiring at least one SaaS company per month and fully embracing AI transformation to build the most advanced, automated SaaS Ops function in the industry.

Trilogy operates a portfolio of SaaS businesses, each with its own architecture, customers, and operational challenges. Instead of treating SaaS Ops as a cost center, we see it as a competitive advantage. We are building a world-class, AI-powered SaaS Ops function designed to maximize uptime, streamline operations, and optimize cloud spending across dozens of products. This is an opportunity to define and execute SaaS Ops strategy at scale, leveraging automation, AI, and best-in-class operational design to set a new industry standard.

This is not a corporate IT or infrastructure management role. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who has built and owned SaaS Ops at a SaaS company, not just been part of the team. The ideal candidate is a technical expert first, a leader second—someone who thrives on designing scalable systems, integrating automation, and making high-stakes operational decisions. You’ll be responsible for defining the future of SaaS Ops across a diverse portfolio of SaaS businesses, ensuring seamless product integrations, and applying AI to create an automated, highly efficient operations engine.

You’ll work alongside world-class peers across Engineering, Product, and C-Suite leadership to shape and execute this vision. If you have strong opinions on how SaaS Ops should be run, love the challenge of optimizing multi-product environments, and are excited to be on the cutting edge of AI-driven operations, this is the role for you. Apply now to take ownership of a career-defining opportunity.

Candidate requirements

  • At least 5 years of experience managing and owning SaaS Ops supporting enterprise customers
  • Experience owning SaaS Ops and leading major cloud migrations at an SME with enterprise customers
  • Experience applying AI and automation technologies to SaaS operations
  • Advanced AWS and DevOps skills (including Docker and Kubernetes)
