What you will be doing
- Spearhead campus optimization initiatives, transforming functional spaces into inspiring learning environments
- Execute precision maintenance strategies, from hands-on repairs to vendor management for complex projects
- Conduct comprehensive facility audits across fire safety, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
- Lead technical support operations, ensuring seamless integration of educational technology
- Design and implement preventive maintenance programs that keep our campus at peak performance
What you will NOT be doing
- Basic janitorial or cleaning duties - we have dedicated teams for that
- Reactive problem-solving - your focus is on strategic prevention and optimization
- Working in isolation - you'll be part of a collaborative team driving educational excellence
Key responsibilities
Candidate requirements
- Miami-based or willing to relocate (relocation assistance provided)
- Proven track record in hands-on facility maintenance and repair
- Demonstrated expertise in vendor management and project coordination
- Experience with facility systems inspection and maintenance (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire safety)
- Technical troubleshooting capabilities for educational technology infrastructure
- Excellence in English communication, both written and verbal
- Authorization to work in the US without sponsorship
