Head of Brand   $100,000 USD/year

Description

IMPORTANT NOTE: This position requires on-site presence at our Austin, Texas campus.

Traditional education focuses on teaching students what to think. This position centers on teaching them how to execute.

Alpha is constructing a fundamentally different high school—one where students don't passively absorb lectures or memorize facts. Instead, they build, ship, communicate, and advance. They launch projects, validate ideas, and acquire real-world capabilities that elude most adults. Your responsibility is ensuring they not only attempt these things, but accomplish them at a high standard.

You will collaborate directly with high school students as they launch businesses, manage projects, and cultivate the confidence, communication skills, and competence necessary for success beyond the classroom. You are not here to deliver theory. You are here to coach practical execution. You will establish rigorous expectations, maintain accountability, and drive students to produce work that holds up in professional contexts.

This position suits individuals who have accomplished something significant outside academic settings—built a product, cultivated an audience, operated within a startup, or delivered results in high-velocity environments—and wish to leverage that experience developing the next generation. If you seek a conventional teaching position, this is not it. If you want to influence how driven teenagers think, operate, and perform, this is your opportunity.

If you've achieved something substantial in your career and want to dedicate your days pushing motivated teenagers toward their full potential, this is your platform. Apply now

  • Presenting conventional lectures or following standardized curricula
  • Evaluating homework assignments or emphasizing abstract academic concepts
