What you will be doing
- Conducting adaptive reading workshops focused on phonics, comprehension, and fluency development
- Creating customized motivational interventions leveraging gamified literacy benchmarks
- Reviewing student performance metrics to adjust teaching strategies and extract meaningful patterns
- Partnering with engineering teams to test and refine AI-powered literacy platforms informed by classroom outcomes
- Building scalable, AI-integrated materials that help early elementary learners reach grade-level reading competency
Candidate requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus specialized certification in reading pedagogy (Orton-Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent)
- 2+ years facilitating small-group reading interventions with early elementary students
- Capable of evaluating reading abilities, forming instructional groups, and crafting differentiated lessons independent of packaged curricula
- Experienced with AI/adaptive learning platforms and attentive to learner engagement signals
- Authorized to work legally in Puerto Rico without employer sponsorship
- Ready to work on-site in Dorado, Puerto Rico
