Description

Success in this role depends on your ability to establish trust with parents within the opening moments of a call. This position suits individuals who find energy in outreach activities, maintain discipline in follow-up, and can articulate a non-traditional learning model without depending on scripted language. If phone-based communication isn't your strength or you prefer work without measurable performance indicators, this opportunity will not align with your preferences.

Novatio School operates as a virtual, tuition-free public charter school with a distinctive educational framework. Students engage with core academic content during concentrated time blocks powered by AI-supported systems, then dedicate remaining hours to real-world skill development through projects and enrichment activities. You will serve as the initial substantive contact point for families considering this educational alternative.

Your weekly responsibilities include rapid response to incoming inquiries, shepherding families through admissions procedures, and advancing them from curiosity to confirmed enrollment. You will also serve as Novatio School's representative at community events to cultivate new prospects and expand local awareness. During quieter enrollment periods, you will support broader school operations while maintaining readiness for subsequent intake cycles.

If you seek a position where your communication skills, reliability, and accountability directly shape student enrollment outcomes, we encourage your application.

What you will be doing

  • Reaching out to newly received inbound leads within a 24-hour window and opening admissions discussions via phone
  • Articulating Novatio School's virtual framework and enrollment procedures using straightforward, accessible language
  • Maintaining disciplined follow-up protocols to advance families from initial inquiry through application completion to final enrollment
  • Recording all engagement details in a CRM with precise notes, defined next actions, and current pipeline status
  • Planning and conducting local recruitment activities in Texas or Arizona to showcase the school and gather new prospective family contacts

What you will NOT be doing

  • Allowing inbound leads to remain uncontacted while addressing administrative backlog
  • Relying on inflexible scripts or functioning as a high-volume call center operator
  • Participating in events without actively presenting information or capturing leads
  • Devoting the bulk of your time to back-office tasks during periods of active enrollment demand

Key responsibilities

Transform initial family interest into qualified, well-informed applicants who successfully complete enrollment at Novatio School.

Candidate requirements

  • Located in Texas or Arizona with availability for hybrid work arrangements
  • 1–2 years of customer service or comparable customer-facing professional experience
  • Background working directly with children or families (educational settings, camps, childcare facilities, tutoring services, or similar contexts)
  • Confident conducting regular phone outreach and supporting families through multi-phase processes
  • Excellent verbal communication abilities with capacity to establish trust rapidly
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms or digital lead management systems

Nice to have

  • Prior experience in admissions coordination, enrollment management, inside sales functions, or lead qualification
  • Background organizing or delivering presentations at community events or outreach initiatives
  • Academic coursework or professional background in communications, education, or related disciplines
