Description

You understand the distinction between content that's merely published and content that audiences actively share. If you've independently grown an audience by shooting, editing, packaging, and publishing your own videos, this is your chance to do it once more—this time supporting the launch of a school that trains teenagers to become founders.

Founders School is creating a new educational category for driven teens who aspire to build companies rather than postpone entrepreneurship until adulthood. We're seeking someone capable of transforming founder dialogues, student milestones, and entrepreneurial insights into platform-native content that attracts attention organically. Your performance won't be evaluated through content calendars, brand standards, or agency oversight. It will hinge on a single metric: whether the audience expands and qualified families choose to enroll.

This is a creator position presented as a senior role. You'll personally identify narratives, craft hooks, shoot footage, edit videos, publish content, and continuously refine output across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and new platforms. AI should already be integrated into your research, editing, repurposing, and optimization workflow. Each content piece represents an experiment. Each experiment reveals what ambitious teens and entrepreneurial families want to consume. If you've grown audiences from nothing, excel in founder-driven settings, and want your output to influence the establishment of a national brand, we want to review your work. Apply today.

What you will be doing

  • Independently produce founder-driven content by scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining videos across YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, and additional creator platforms.
  • Convert founder discussions, student narratives, events, and unedited footage into engaging stories that ambitious teens and their parents organically want to view and distribute.
  • Execute fast-paced experiments involving hooks, thumbnails, titles, formats, editing approaches, publishing frequency, and distribution tactics to drive organic audience expansion.
  • Leverage analytics and AI resources to enhance content quality, production efficiency, and results with each iteration.
  • Establish the creator-driven media system that produces qualified admissions interest through genuine storytelling instead of paid media.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Overseeing agencies, production contractors, or teams responsible for content creation on your behalf.
  • Reviewing creative submissions from the sidelines rather than directly producing high-impact content yourself.
  • Executing traditional school marketing, corporate branding initiatives, or managing a social media posting schedule.
  • Pursuing superficial metrics or depending on paid advertising rather than achieving organic audience development.
  • Allocating time to meetings about content rather than actively creating it.

Key responsibilities

Independently construct Founders School's creator-driven media engine to produce 5,000 qualified inbound admissions inquiries during the first 12 months via high-impact, founder-centered content.

Candidate requirements

  • Confirmed experience in one of the following:
    • Independently grew an audience from zero to millions as a creator or as an early contributor to a creator team, or
    • Operated hands-on within an elite founder-driven content engine with direct responsibility for content production and audience development.
  • A portfolio containing 2–3 content pieces you personally filmed, edited, packaged, and published demonstrating measurable organic results.
  • Documented ability to articulate your specific contribution to audience growth through metrics including subscribers, followers, watch time, engagement, shares, or views.
  • Expert practical proficiency in scripting, shooting, editing, packaging, publishing, and refining creator-driven video content.
  • Strong judgment for founder narratives and platform-specific content development.
  • Regular application of AI tools to expedite research, scripting, editing, repurposing, or performance enhancement.
  • Based in, or prepared to relocate to, New York, NY within 60 days.
  • Authorized for employment in the United States without requiring visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

  • Background producing content for entrepreneurs, startup founders, or creator-driven enterprises.
  • Experience building a media brand or channel from inception.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of what appeals to ambitious teenagers and emerging entrepreneurs.
  • Experience converting analytics into scalable content frameworks.
