Description

You've launched a software product from the ground up, but you recognize that meaningful product work is an ongoing discipline. You're someone who navigates ambiguity with confidence, diving deep into user needs, problem spaces, and domain knowledge until a clear direction reveals itself. Your goal isn't to oversee a backlog or complete a specification—you want accountability for a meaningful objective and the autonomy to achieve it with speed, clarity, and precision.

At Trilogy, we've redefined the approach. You're not here to "maintain a roadmap". You're here to deliver one thing: a tangible, measurable business result. You receive a single, well-defined goal—an intended outcome when users engage with the product—and your responsibility is to bring it to life. You'll develop comprehensive domain knowledge using AI as a collaborator and direct user feedback, document it so both your team and AI systems can leverage it, and guide the product through rapid, evidence-based cycles until you achieve the target.

You'll join a team that doesn't reward activity theater or polished process charts. You'll be expected to generate impact and make choices grounded in user insights, tight feedback loops, and incisive judgment. If you're tired of performing the PM role and want to genuinely transform it, we encourage you to apply. We're creating what product management was always meant to be.

What you will be doing

  • Create BrainLifts: A methodical, dynamic collection of expert knowledge that enhances AI capabilities, informs decision-making, and demonstrates your command of the domain.
  • Execute Product Iterations: Compact, evidence-driven product improvements delivered each week to advance the product toward a quantifiable outcome.
  • Develop Domain Expertise: Gain thorough, organized knowledge of a particular domain to enable superior decision-making, more customized outputs, and credible communication.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Spending an entire month on a single new feature; we ship new capabilities weekly
  • Drafting extensive, comprehensive PRDs, maintaining backlogs, or specifying every interface or corner case
  • Constructing technical implementations or software architecture

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a product leadership role in a product company, where you personally shaped an entire software product's vision, defined the roadmap, and improved it based on usage metrics or customer feedback (i.e., not just a feature or a module in a bigger product, and not internal development or outsourcing work or custom development done for a single customer)
  • Some experience in product management of software used by large enterprises, so you can understand the particularities of how large enterprises choose, buy, and adopt software, compared to consumers or even SMBs.
  • Technical background that enables discussing data models and system design trade-offs. Backed up by either formal education in Computer Science, or practical hands-on experience as a developer/coder of at least 1 year.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI in your daily work (e.g., research, analysis, synthesis, or strategy).
