Senior AI Product Manager   $200,000 USD/year

Description

You've launched a software product from the ground up, but you understand that meaningful product work is ongoing. You're someone who navigates ambiguity without needing a blueprint, who invests deeply in understanding users, their challenges, and the underlying domain until the right direction becomes apparent. Your goal isn't to oversee a backlog or complete templated documents. You seek ownership over a significant objective and the freedom to pursue it with velocity, clarity, and precision.

Trilogy operates differently. You're not brought on to "control the roadmap". Your mission is to deliver one specific outcome: a tangible, measurable business result. You receive a singular, well-defined goal—something that must occur when users engage with the product—and you are accountable for achieving it. Success requires cultivating profound domain knowledge with AI as a collaborator and user feedback as your guide, structuring that knowledge so teammates and AI can leverage it, and navigating the product through rapid, evidence-driven cycles until the target is reached.

You'll join a team that rejects performative activity and aesthetically pleasing flowcharts. Your purpose is to generate impact and make choices grounded in user data, tight feedback loops, and precise understanding. If you're tired of performing the traditional PM role and want to redefine it entirely, we encourage you to apply. We're creating the product management discipline as it should have existed from the start.

What you will be doing

  • Create BrainLifts: A dynamic, structured repository of expert knowledge that enhances AI capabilities, informs decision-making, and demonstrates your mastery of the domain.
  • Execute Product Iterations: Incremental, evidence-based product improvements delivered each week to guide the product toward a defined outcome.
  • Develop Domain Expertise: Gain comprehensive, organized knowledge of a particular domain to enable superior decision-making, produce more customized outputs, and establish credible authority.

What you will NOT be doing

  • Devoting an entire month to a single feature; our cadence is weekly feature releases
  • Drafting extensive PRDs, curating backlogs, or specifying every interface detail and corner case
  • Constructing technical implementations or software architecture

Candidate requirements

  • 4+ years in a product leadership role in a product company, where you personally shaped an entire software product's vision, defined the roadmap, and improved it based on usage metrics or customer feedback (i.e., not just a feature or a module in a bigger product, and not internal development or outsourcing work or custom development done for a single customer)
  • Some experience in product management of software used by large enterprises, so you can understand the particularities of how large enterprises choose, buy, and adopt software, compared to consumers or even SMBs.
  • Technical background that enables discussing data models and system design trade-offs. Backed up by either formal education in Computer Science, or practical hands-on experience as a developer/coder of at least 1 year.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI in your daily work (e.g., research, analysis, synthesis, or strategy).
