Role Description
Remote back-end jobs at Crossover allow top-tier developers to create code, improve the server, server-side applications, and databases that helps create a functional, seamless experience for the end user.
Back-End Job Responsibilities
- As a back-end developer, you will work on a cross-functional team to develop easy-to-understand solutions
- Review requirements and implement solutions
- Write reusable and efficient code
- Define application objectives, features, and functionality
- Architect, develop and test software applications
- Produce detailed design documentation
Minimum Requirements For a Backend Developer
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in back-end web technologies like Java, .NET, PHP, Python, JavaScript, Laravel, etc. in backend developer roles or similar
- Good understanding of SQL/NoSQL database
- Preferably, experience with building cloud-native applications
- The ability to work full-time (40 hours/week)
